My friends from the ground up ‘75 W300 with mid eighties power-lok equipped 4.88 Dana 70s, NP435/205 and a/c clutch equipped air brake compressor mounted in place with a/c brackets. (Edit) It’s got an ‘88 high swirl 318 with an edelbrock performer and 500 cfm Edelbrock carb and 2-1/2 inch outlet magnum manifolds. It’s big and heavy and isn’t really what you’d call quick or efficient, but it goes wherever you aim it. And that’s with whatever you got piled on it and are pulling behind it at once.

Fun thread, glad to see it pop back up. Here's my 82 D150, slant with 833OD. Bought it non-running, I was told it chewed up the timing chain (not verified yet). I was going to keep the tranny as a spare and let the rest go, but it keeps winking at me from the driveway, asking pretty please can I have a new timing chain and go for a drive?

^^^this one a few years ago I pulled out of the weeds in Molalla where it had been sitting for 20 years and did a full mechanical Restorations along with floorboards carpet rims and tires. Switched it from a 318 granny 4-speed to a 360 automatic with correct steering column pedals floor home Etc>>
Drove it to Denver Colorado and gave it to my son..

^^^ this one I bought about a year-and-a-half ago and pretty damn rough conditions and fixed up pretty well and sold it.. it was a 440 automatic 3/4 ton I caught this picture when I seen it at a business parking lot a couple weeks ago. It was nice to see the old girl again... Actually contacted the owner and he wants me to help him do some work on it next month possibly... (Seed truck)

Daing Jpar, is the grandson of seed truck the one you were talking about a cam swap on and is that the factory two tone? What year is that?

Yeah I was thinking about a cam swap but I'm going to leave that alone. I've got the timing chain probably an oil pump maybe a new water pump.. as matter fact I'm just getting dressed right now to go outside and tackle the grease on that motor! LOL it's a 73..

And that’s column automatic, too? I’m losing my mind right now trying to figure out a way to buy that..

Look at grandson of seed truck on General discussion.. it's a granny 4-speed... After its completely mechanical sound with almost brand new Snow rated tires and whatnot I'm going to want a little bit for it and it's going to be north of 4K and not just 4k... as in that won't be the starting point of negotiations and going down from there LOL no offense..

actually I would rather discuss it on that other thread of mine instead of continuing to derail this one if it all possible...

First new vehicle purchased in '93 - 3.9 Magnum with a 5-speed manual. Fun truck. Wish I still had it...
