How about a d300 1 ton with a 12' dump bed. My buddy who owns the trailer would not pull it with his 2010 Ram with a Hemi because it was too much for it. So I borrowed his trailer. I only towed it 25 miles but pulled two PA mountains!

Wow, reminds me of my cousin Billy who pulled his 70 Duster drag car on a trailer with his 95 Dodge Dakota standard cab shortbed 2wd!!! The truck was a 5.2 w/5spd but dang, the car and trailer together outweighed the truck!!! The trailer didn't have brakes either.
I remember riding with him to St. Louis(100mi one way) in it like that, I swear the front tires were bouncing off the ground. He did it like that for years until he bought a 95 dodge dually V10.

I had a 90 Ford Ranger, 2.9V6 with a 5 speed manual...........borrowed a tow dolly and towed a 94 Honda Accord about 40 miles and I had a BMW R850R in the bed of the truck..........going wasn't too bad, stopping was another issue.........

Back in 1971, wife and I were moving from SD to IL. We had 70 Duster 340 4spd w 3.91 gears and put bumper hitch on it and 5x10 uhaul trailer behind it. It pulled it just fine, until!!! Wife was following in her Falcon, and wanted to drive Duster. On I80 the trailer started to weave and she couldn't get it to stop. She then hit brakes and trailer went sideways and flipped on side and skidded on its side. Duster rear went up off wheels and stayed upright when hitch twisted. Wife was ok, just shook up. Wrecker came turned trailer upright, took it to shop. We straightened hitch, checked for damage, and hit road again. Made it to new home, unpacked with only one thing inside damaged. Sure glad we bought the equipment damage waiver. Only cost $50 deductible. Better to be lucky than smart, I guess.

Saw this at Hot August Nights a couple of years ago..:wack:

Actually, that's not a bad idea... All you need to to is drop the drive shaft out of the 'Vette.
...and hope that you have enough brakes to stop when you want to, and enough *** to turn when you want to.

Really shouldn't be a problem at low speed.

Much safer than some of the other pics, and comments in this thread!

I would not want within a 1/2 mile of that thing, LOL

Ya know, Okla, that's even worse than I first thought. It's bad enough when some "citizen" rigs up a disaster waiting to happen, but whoever / whatever that thing is, should KNOW better!!!
