Local Chicagoland guys?

Do they have cruise nights there? Monthly sounds like it might be a doable time frame for most people.
brauerhouse has a thursday night cruise night. I can talk to the people at the woodridge Tilted Kilt about getting something together there if we don't want to step on another clubs cruise night.

It appears to me a lot of the cruise nights are run by someone other than clubs. A number of them in the area around St. Charles are run by this place: http://www.doublekproductions.com/cruisenights/ . Eveyone is welcome in these and the guys running them are pretty helpful. I'd be willing to bet if they were told a number of Mopar A-Bodies were going to showing up they would help group us together.

The cruise night thing looks like it's becoming popular. I keep finding one's that are new or I didn't know about.

Maybe we could find something centrally located. In the summer the Lombard cruise night is pretty good but it's over now.

Here's some more cruise nights: http://www.blacktoprebels.com/events/EventSearch.action & http://oldgoldcruisers.com/Calendar.html. Some are from the link above.

Well its late enough in this season that we can make our plans for next year now. I know the guy from doublek I will talk to him.

I currently live in Wheeling soon to become married and live in Mt. Prospect a few miles away! Just brought my love the 65 Formula S here from Maryland! Mechanically fully done! Just needs Paint and a little dent fixed on one rear panel! If someone knows a good place reasonable here let me know! After we get Married I am saving for that is the next joy to the world! But in mean time it is a driver and will be driven to have fun!! Drove it all the way here from Maryland no issues! Ran great passed many and got lots of heads turning! Even was asked at the toll booth on Ohio turnpike what kind of car it was, as all the cops were watching me and could not figure it out! Love my early A Cuda!!!!

Cant wait to meet others here as I am a member of the Maryland Mopar club and want to be one here too! Mopar or No Car!

Gregg 65Cudalover!

since there are so many A body guys around I gotta ask.. I am in search of a complete v8,73 on up big bolt kframe with everything including disc brakes. I will be rebuilding it but want a complete set up, I have a 72 small bolt v8 kframe that was modified poorly to fit a big block. thanks guys...

since there are no crusie nights for the next few weeks I think we should try to meet up somewhere soon

FYI see the "Chicago A-Body Owners Group" thread.

I hardly ever see any A bodies at cruise nights and suggested in the above thread at meeting up on the first night of the Lombard cruise night on June 1, http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...se-nights-to-begin-2013-04-02,0,1722428.story . I posted a location in the thread, http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showpost.php?p=1969791971&postcount=34 . I'm planning on going, weather permitting. Would be cool to have a bunch of A bodies in one place. Hopefully some of you can make it and we can meet each other an see our rides.

just been here for a short while and got married this weekend, my 65 formula s Barracuda brought here last winter from Maryland ready to rock n roll now! I live in Mt. Prospect looking forward to meeting other A body and Mopar lovers as I am a big one! I used to drag race a 66 cuda back about 16 years ago at Great Lakes was 2nd in street class 2 years in a row until a fool ran into it one day coming home in the rain! Now just working this car into a cruiser and fun car, mechanically 100%, just needs paint and some minor body work! Love to punch the gas when fools mess with me on the road as they get left behind!! Joy to the World....Mopar or No Car is my motto!
