Magnum 360 build. (HP/tq?)

-
it's probably making peak hp around 5000 rpm with high 400 tq, 480-490 say 484 tq witch is 1.1 tq per cid, 484 x .9 x 5000 / 5252 = 415 hp
Is this the modern day conversion numbers for the listed numbers Chrysler corp. gave rod there 440 Magnum engine?

273 you have to be the biggest YouTube quoting, book smart, cut copy and paste guy I’ve ever seen. Have you personally ever done any testing yourself??? Do you race and if so how fast have you gone??? Please post some pictures of you cars.
Already said I don't race, doesn't mean I can't extract info from studying hundreds of dyno runs etc...

If the Steve came up with the basic way to guesstimate with all his years on a dyno, I can't too far off.
Plus this a thread about guesstimating what an engines hp/tq would be on a dyno. Why does it matter how I do it.

Because you ramble on stealing and posting the hard work
Of others all the time knowing nothing. Buy a car and show us if you can apply it yourself. Please

He has a car, never posts a picture. He has a MP 360/380hp engine in there where he coupled up a 2.94 gear rear end and then dumbed down the camshaft because all he did was complain about how crappy of an engine it is on performance and mileage.

I’d have some respect for the guy if he did t always try and prove himself right all the time on the backs of others hard work and video postings with an air of arrogance as if he actually knows something. If he just point d out others work saying this might help point the way….. that would be good.

But no…..

Instead he butchers his own crap and blames everything on someone else.

His latest proposed adventure is building a 11 second car w/a 360 engine. So I gave him a base combo and he turns around and says…. Get this ****….

I’m not ready to do that yet, I just wanna build an engine and work my way down through the time zones a little at a time until I reach my goal.

I just say, cool, have fun… and the. Wonder why I waste my time.

i'm answering peoples questions.

I have a car 380hp crate 68 Valiant Signet it's my pic

You have a “crate engine”. With all your expertise. Ain’t that a crock of crap. Lol. You should have a 600 horsepower monster under the hood with everything you know. Lol

And remember, look back on darn near every interaction we have had!

He argues!!!! And argues!!! And argues some more!!!!

Remember! Calculators and internet YouTube video people are the all knowing heroes he follows because they must be right!
Never mind the conflicting issues he glazes over & ignores.
It doesn’t matter, HE’s RIGHT - YOUR WRONG!!!

That thing should be flying down the track in the mid 12’s east.
Or at least from what I have seen year after year at E-Town NJ.

(Everyone take a minute and bow your heads to the E-Town passing away as well as other tracks we have lost.)

His computer must have a big memory to store all Of the links and YouTube videos that he’s constantly posting up that “others “ made.

Your first guess with a ton of assumptions & then below…..
So is everyone else's, where's yours and buddies expert guesses?
With some good information to make a much better educated guess.

Now you should show the math with cam and head flow numbers to the conclusion. It’s a big difference from the crappy first guess to the second more informed calculation. Look at the difference.

1st - 438 Tq. - 413 HP
2nd - 394 Tq., - 375HP
I like you telling me how to guesstimate, my answers are inline with everyone else's.
And you say wrong but you quote it wrong. 394 is tq at peak hp in all 3 eg.. I gave, 90% of guesstimated peak 438 tq.

Exactly!!!

At least I come clean right up front and say…

*I Think* , a good buddy of mine did this…. (Because I trust this guy so much knowing he is a straight up fella, I don’t have a problem leaving a few grand in his care or even the wife or kids)

“I’ve seen” because I’ve seen it done!
“I’ve done it” because I’ve done it!
I’ll tell ya straight out and do each time, “Seen it on Engine Masters” or “Richard Holdner did it.” I don’t take there credit but credit them.
“YRMV” is an honest notation.

That's how I bought, I only bring the mismatch when other have or deciding to do the same.
Never said the engine crappy.

I’m just showing you where good information comes into play vs your wild *** assumptions. Note the differences in power!

Going to the garage everybody!
Time to whittle away at some aluminum.
(AFB carb mods)

Sorry to OP, done trying to reason with these two.

I guy starts a post with zero of the info needed to even take a wild azz guess at it and you jump in with every book formula ever printed by others on the subject. Good luck with that.

I was just about to turn off the phone and crank up the tunes…

No, you’re a lier, you keep coming back and addressing us and trying to prove you’re right over and over again. You want to drag this out! You persist! You’re enjoying this and it’s obvious to anyone and everyone that you love to do this since it’s done all the time by you.

You can’t help yourself! You live for the strife you create!

My 1st guess was post #40, post #3 was a example how to.

Where's your guess, we have all the basic info now.

I don’t guess at horsepower posts. I like to dyno test my engines on the race track, where it matters. Ragizene horsepower numbers and YouTube video horsepower numbers mean nothing to me. Most are totally BS and never backed up.

I thought that was jpar on here for awhile with all the red X’s
