I should be there with my race car and a few swap meet items.

This one is only about 60 days out now.

That's not far off at all. I need to get it in gear and go do some runs in at the local track. I'm trying to get my father in law to bring one of his Hemi cars. Not sure if it will be his race Hemi or one of the street cars. Either way, would be nice to see him get one out. Although been hearing about how bad winter is going to be this year. Hope it holds out until then.

We missed it last year, raced at another venue.
Plan on being there this year with the Demon & Barracuda.

A chevy friend of ours just put down a deposit on a HellCat Challenger, he hopes to have it at this race.

He said it was the first time in his life that he was excited about a MoPar.
I told him it would change his life. LoL

We made it last year, with me having my arm in a sling from shoulder surgery. Depending on what the Dr. says when I go back on the 26th, I might be back in a sling again this year. :pale:

Getting Closer. Ill be there again this year. Will either bring the Duster to run or the Cuda to sell....if I can get motor and tranny in it in time.
Todd

I plan on going. I've been a long time mopar fan. Just bought a 1970 dart last weekend. Hopefully it'll be ready to make the trip to Tulsa!

How big is the swap meet typically?

was pretty sad actually, lots of junk. couple of guys bought stuff for resale. never know tho!

I'll be on the hunt for a cheap 8 3/4 and an a body brake booster assembly. Hopefully I'll find something good.

I have a complete 8 1/4. Good luck finding a cheap 8 3/4...Ask me how I know.... Also, have a few parts for a A body brake booster...
I will be bringing a few parts from my 75 Dart and 74 Scamp.
Let me know if you need something specific.

Not going to make it this year. My son is getting married that weekend.

Got my car back last night from the shop! Looks like I'll be going. Does anyone know what time you have to be there for tech inspection, what time test n tune is, etc? Have some family going but they don't want to stay the entire time. They just want to be there when I run but I have no idea when that would be. I don't see anything on the flyer and can't find much info on this event.

Tech is normally in the lanes as you pull in.
If you have a pulse, you will get through tech.

They have open Time Trials until 1:00PM normally.

Gate fee I think covers open time trials, but you have to pay some extra to race.

It's a laid back type deal.

I'm not bringing both my cars, just the Demon.
My son took the Barracuda to Ardmore to race.

Got the MRI results and talked to the surgeon Thursday. They're gonna operate on my right shoulder (again!) to repair the rotator cuff that they cleaned up in the first surgery. The partial tear progressed to a full thickness tear. The surgeon has never seen it happen before in 30+ years of practice. I've got to get a few things in order before the surgery and only have a few days when the kids will be able to help. Mopars in the park just isn't in the cards for me this year. %^*& $%#@^! :angryfir:

I'm out--- plan "A" did not come through-- was to meet a member there for a parts swap-- & watch mopars.

didn't have a plan B-- you guys have fun ,Lawrence

Also, no 110 or alcohol at the track, their tanks are empty.

Gran Prix speed shop is open until 5:00 Saturday, about 10 miles from the track.
