I'm going to have to ask the guy who put it in years ago. He just told me 484, but I'll phone him and let you know what I find out.
I wish I could post that video so you guys could hear it. You might recognize it by ear

Thank you guys! I have to get to bed, Gota work tonight, check back later.
Remember, I need a push to cut my inner wheel wells to do the headers..:-/
Yes, you are missing some patience..... don't cut your inner fenders just because you want it done NOW. There are other options. If your car is in good general condition, then cutting the inners will cost you more in car resale value than the extra money paid for some headers or pipes that will fit without cutting. Thanks Ken! I'm nervous!! I will look up that thread, but now I'm running back out to work.
I'm looking into a hooker header p/n 5115-1HKR , I've been on the phone and reading about it and it does not say anything about cutting the fender wells. The guy at hooker said the same thing and that it would work with my colum shift. But, I kinda expect I'll have to cut the wells... But before I pull the trigger and order them, I want to check with you guys to see if I'm missing something??
Just got off the phone with tti and they said they do not offer a header that will work with the 727 colum shifter, only floor shift. I really want to keep it looking original in the cab...
The passenger side is not the hipo manifold. Keep the driver side and look for a magnum version for the passenger side. One member on here sells them.
Then get the pipes to fit them here: TTi Exhaust Component Parts
Guys, I'm considering a floor shifter to work with the tti headers. B&m offers a quicksilver shifter but I'm unsure if that's the one I'd want? I love the look of the O.E. Shifter but for me to find all the do-dads to bring that together would cost a fortune.
The other option is finding a cast manifold with the large 2-1/4 outlet for the right side.
Tti offers headers that will work with the 727 as long as I use a floor shift and some special starter.
- I've come to the conclusion I will not cut my fender wells no matter what!
- I would prefer headers but am a little bummed about loosing my colum shift.
Thoughts??
