Here are the plugs i cant get to.
yup...need to take it off the stand. do them lastHere are the plugs i cant get to.
Should have done them first before I put it on the stand! I wasnt thinking clearly haha. Man that was a chore getting it on the stand by myself. I didnt even use the lift! I carried the block up the steps and laid it on the front, held the stand up while I bolted it then flipped the whole thing over on its wheels. It was freaking heavy Haha I will probably go ahead and do them now and put it back on the stand before I do the crank I'm sure it will be harder with all that installed.yup...need to take it off the stand. do them last
I did **** like that when I was in my teens and early 20s with 440 blocks. Now I have back issues. Be careful. Work smarter not harder.Should have done them first before I put it on the stand! Yea I dont think I'm that strong hahaI used to do it w/ a 426 hemi block , now wont do it w/ a sbc !
sbc's are bl**dy heavy, maybe why they're often referred to as boat anchors.I used to do it w/ a 426 hemi block , now wont do it w/ a sbc !
I wonder if they are heavier than a sbm?sbc's are bl**dy heavy, maybe why they're often referred to as boat anchors.
yes, from memory next to a 302 ford the mopar is the lightest small block.I wonder if they are heavier than a sbm?
Hey man it's good to here from you it's been a while! How you been? So make 8 holes in the oil filter plate instead of four?I would pull the oil filter adapter plate off there and drill a hole in between each one of those four holes. I would also enlarge those four holes to the next size up drill bit. But that's just me
Thanks I wish you would have told me a couple days ago I done permtexed it down haha i can pull it off and drill some more holes no problem. I drilled out my cam thrust plate today for the holes in the front plugs.Still alive. Lol
Yes 8 holes. One size bigger than the 4 that's in there now. And keep them out of the filter seal area.

Question should I put a hole in both plugs or just one for the timing chain oil?
Yes I got them all put back inYou did put the rear plug on the drivers side oil gallery?
