yup...need to take it off the stand. do them last
Should have done them first before I put it on the stand! I wasnt thinking clearly haha. Man that was a chore getting it on the stand by myself. I didnt even use the lift! I carried the block up the steps and laid it on the front, held the stand up while I bolted it then flipped the whole thing over on its wheels. It was freaking heavy Haha I will probably go ahead and do them now and put it back on the stand before I do the crank I'm sure it will be harder with all that installed.

I did **** like that when I was in my teens and early 20s with 440 blocks. Now I have back issues. Be careful. Work smarter not harder.

Got alot done today unfortunately I go back to work tomorrow so I wont be able to continue till next week I may get a few things done after work who knows lol got all the freeze plugs and oil plugs put in I got the slag in the valley cleaned up washed it really good with the water hose and gave it a good oil bath. Got my cam bearings put in that was a *****! My tool broke on the third one the expander piece shattered and feel into pieces. And it slipped thru the inside of the bearing and buggered it up bad luckily I had another set and was able to pull it and replace it. I got my tool fixed and was able to continue and got it finished up. There was another one it buggered the edge on but not bad I gave it a shave and I think it will be ok. I also got my distributer bushing put in. I'm making progress

Got some more work done today on my day off. I got all the accessories for the engine primed and painted they look fantastic. I'm using the mopar brand spray paint it's doing really good has a nice gloss to it and lays down pretty good, coverage is great. My only complaint is it does splatter some you have to be careful and clean the tip often. Got some damn bugs on my valve cover so I'm gonna have to go back and repaint them. I figured I'd let it cure and hit it with some scotch bright and give it a light coat. Also i got some shoes on the front. They are smaller than I want to run eventually but they will work for now. They look great on the car. Its good to see it setting on some rubber again. I have to find some 15s for the back still. I may end up just buying some new ones.

I would pull the oil filter adapter plate off there and drill a hole in between each one of those four holes. I would also enlarge those four holes to the next size up drill bit. But that's just me

Hey man it's good to here from you it's been a while! How you been? So make 8 holes in the oil filter plate instead of four?

Still alive. Lol

Yes 8 holes. One size bigger than the 4 that's in there now. And keep them out of the filter seal area.

Thanks I wish you would have told me a couple days ago I done permtexed it down haha i can pull it off and drill some more holes no problem. I drilled out my cam thrust plate today for the holes in the front plugs.
Question should I put a hole in both plugs or just one for the timing chain oil?

Personally I use the factory bolt with the hole in it that screws in to the lifter valley to oil the timing chain.
