the front of the hoop was hitting a very large sloppy factory weld. I had to grind it smooth then it fit flush.
Then drilled the hole. you drill 3/8 all way thru both sides of the frame. be very careful to drill straight and level.
the rear hoop mount was away from the frame about 3/16" so i clamped it in place with the front and upper bolts in place
then drilled that 3/8 hole all way thru both sides of frame. once that was done i pulled the upper hoop all way back out
now you drill ONLY THE OUTSIDE HOLES TO 1/2"
then you slide the supplied sleeves into place and bolt thru them. this effectively creates a sleeved hole thru the frame so that you dont collapse the frame rail when you tighten the bolts.
now you can reinstall the hoop
then i installed the upper control arms. I used one aluminum spacer per side of the bushings.
this is the upper in with the ride height adjustment bars in place.
then i installed the spindle and tie rod end
then on with the brakes.
that is pretty much the entire passenger side installed with one guy in about 2 hrs taking my time and reading the install guidelines several times over.
