Insurance companies are having similar responses to California properties near brush fire country.
That's awful. You pay them year after year to cover your property but when it comes to paying out they shut you out. They have billions of dollars worth of property bought from your money. This is when they need to sell it and pay your claims.

Do You Fart in Bed? This Hilarious Story Will Have You Crying with Laughter!
Here’s a story about a couple who had been happily married for years. The only issue? The husband’s habit of loudly farting every morning! The noise woke his wife up, and the smell made her eyes water and gasp for air.
Every morning, she’d beg him to stop, worried it was making her sick. But he’d just laugh it off, insisting it was natural. She warned him, “One day, you’ll blow your guts out!” The years went by, and he never stopped.
Then, one Christmas morning, as she was preparing the turkey, a mischievous idea struck her. She took the turkey’s innards and crept upstairs. Gently pulling back his waistband, she slipped the turkey guts into his shorts and tiptoed away.
Moments later, she heard the usual morning trumpeting followed by a blood-curdling scream and frantic footsteps to the bathroom. She could hardly contain herself, rolling with laughter on the floor!
Twenty minutes later, he appeared in blood-stained underwear, looking horrified. She bit her lip, trying to hide her grin, and asked, “What happened?” He replied, “Honey, you were right. I finally farted my guts out! But thanks to some Vaseline and a couple of fingers, I think I got most of them back in…”
