They are Riddler. They'll be one of the first things to go!
I only do that when her mother comes by!Just don't hide in the shop with a 60 of rum and a cut wheel, while the wife has visitors over that you don't like! LOLView attachment 1715783395 View attachment 1715783396
Did you ever get that finished?Just don't hide in the shop with a 60 of rum and a cut wheel, while the wife has visitors over that you don't like! LOLView attachment 1715783395 View attachment 1715783396
Nope, those pictures are about 33 years old. She's sitting in the yard beside the hangar. Interesting part is it's been outside for 24 years now and hasn't really rusted. Maybe I should let my Mother in Law visit again ( I banned her from our property some 30 years ago) and I could go hide again and get it done! LOLDid you ever get that finished?
Yeah, could tell by the pics that was a while ago. You haven't had you MIL over in 30 years?!?!Nope, those pictures are about 33 years old. She's sitting in the yard beside the hangar. That's a bit too low for me, personally. Even though it's a 2wd, and I won't be doing any off-roading in her, I still wanna feel like I'm in a truck. On the flip side, I really don't like the lifted 4x4 look either. Which is why I waited to find a 2wd.
Surprisingly, all of the sheet metal is available.Looking good!
How much of the sheet metal is available commercially? like floors, sills, all that stuff around the bottom. I looked at one recently but was worried about how much fabbing I was in for and let it pass.
Get one now. These are the next MOPAR vehicles that are set to spike in price (they have kinda started going up already). The pop top 70's models are getting tough to find, but there's a lot of 80+ models out there.Looking good!

Slant six in a 5000 lb truck?
Surprisingly, all of the sheet metal is available.
And compared to A, B, E body panels it's CHEAP. I'm talking $25-$65 depending on what piece it is.
Here...Where?
Somehow I missed this thread, but that's a very nice find! If it was me I'd keep the slant and 4-speed, how cool would that be! Nice work on the rust repair, it looks great. I'll be watching this one.
