What is the deal about intakes now? I just got a Weiand 8007 dual plane. More and more it looks like everything I have is becoming incompatible with these heads

Not the intake I would roll with running those heads unless you are building a truck pulling engine.
The only dual plane intakes I know of are the OEM & the Performer,Indy has a dual plane, not a spread bore.

They are scheduled for release in late November early December.
And Defiantly bringing to Market,
I think he was referring to the word "defiantly" which probably was suppose to be "definitely".Nobody in the Mopar community is against them coming out.
They originally were supposed to come out in Sept. so in the whole scheme of things, coming out at the end of the year is actually better than most new product offerings regards sticking to timelines
