I set up the politics forum specifically so that you have to sign up for it or you will not see the posts in there. I did so specifically so if you dont want to be involved with such topics, you wont be exposed to them. Its all about choice.
Let's not talk politics in this forum.

Hard to believe anyone would actively want to get into politics on a car forum these days. Seems there's enough of that us and them BS everywhere else on social media. I'll just continue to focus on car related posted.

I didn't go into N&P for a long time, got to know and respect a lotta folks.
Didn't know much about U.S. politics other than business news feeds.
I got quite a education there, and lost a little respect for some, but I found it fascinating, discovered a lotta new stuff, tried desperately to understand some points of view .
Since I stopped getting a newspaper, I miss the Sunday Comics, so now I just read the N&P .

If you are left leaning, this is not the case. I have many right leaning opinions but even introducing a moderate idea will have the wolves licking their lips. Suspicion of a “libtard” in their midst will spur PMs of what to do with this outlyer….. can he be converted? Or shall we kill?
But maybe things have changed in a couple years?
I’ll stick to 4 wheels n a motor thank you.
