Got your kit done, see you on Saturday!

'69 Barracuda kit recieved and installed. Great quality and attention to detail. Installed as advertised in about 1 1/2 hours. Noticed the difference immediately. My son and I have also modified the electrical system to bypass the ammeter (did the stock appearing voltmeter as well). Headlight and dashlight intensity is much improved since installing your relay kit. Thanks for a great product!

Todd,

Thanks for the positive feedback. Good to read it performed as advertised.

Rob

I'll be getting one from you hopefully soon

Cool, Let me know. I can custom build it to wherever you want to mount the relays.

You may be surprised at the difference in performance even using the old std bulbs. I spoke with the car owner of the before and after pics, he mentioned the lights he has are halogens and the relay kit clearly made a huge difference.

Thanks

Rob

Rob,

I bought this relay kit 2 years ago for my sons duster............ before I could put it on he sold it! So, my question is can I use it on my Demon project even if the battery is in the trunk (was to be mounted under battery tray) Can I lengthen wires if need be?

Mark

Mark,

Yes, you can still use it. You could mount the relays on the inner instead or shorten the main power wires up and mount on backside of rad yoke, pass side. That would only require crimping on a couple of ring terminals for alternator connection. If you want to mess with the mounting block terminals, they are an open barrel type crimp and should be done with the correct tool.

You could send it back and I could alter it to a new location for you.

Whatever works for you is OK with me. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

Rob, got around to putting the harness in the car tonight, easy install all lengths worked great. The difference in light output is amazing, a awesome addition to my ride, now I can see on the windy dark roads around my area at night. I will have my car out more at night now. This kit works as advertised or better! Thanks.

Evan,

Great to read the feedback. Good to read it performs as advertised.

I'm happy I brought the longer power wire set when delivered at Fling. Worked out better than the original length.

Hope you got the PS pump fixed up.

Thanks again

Davethedemon. Sent you a PM, not sure with the low post count if the PM's work.

Folks,

If you haven't purchased this modification, you don't know what you are missing.

The increase in light from our h4's is enough where we are no longer thinking of upgrading the lights.

The install was straight forward and took much less time than suggested.

Thanks
Ian.

Here is an example of the difference from another site. Note the light in the middle of the road. 71 Challenger

Ian,

That's good to read. I take it you got the wire back in the block that had pushed out. Plenty of people go straight to expensive lights and sometimes it's just not required as you noted.

Thanks for the positive feedback and recommendation.

Headlight relay kit + Sylvania SilverStar sealed beams = highly recommended.
