The red #15 Barracuda looks like Mike Ritz's Team Starfish Barracuda. I built two engines for that car. Unfortunately the second one ended up all over the track after he had some valvetrain issues. The moral of the story is, when your engine guy tells you the valvesprings need to be upgraded, you listen...or pay the price.

Not the prettiest, but hopefully will be out on the streets this year. In the process of re-doing it enough for street/strip duty.

Built this for my wife back in 1996. She drove it everywhere, everyday for first few years, then it was too much $$$ to drive to work when we moved and the comute turned to 50 miles each way. She still gets out and streches on weekends and handfull of shows we go to.
Dave:D

And yes, in the last photo, that is Mike Ritz 66 Team Starfish next to us (right side of pic) when we were at Spring Fling in Van Nuys a few years back. I have know Mike, well, "awhile"....

Nice. Can you tell me what the wheel width, backspace & tire size is? I will eventually go to 16s or 17s when my current tires wear out. You just can't get good performance tires for 15s anymore. I was lucky to find the Yokohamas I have on my car currently.

Thanks!

I would refer you to the link that I had on the motech subforum, but as they are no longer a sponsor I lost my thread that I had there on making these fit....

The wheels are 17x8 Streeters. These are the BBP wheels, the 5x4.5 pattern, but motech performance does have them in the 5x4 bolt pattern. The backspace is 4.25 I believe and the tires are Fuzion 245/45 17s. There is a member on here running 255s all around, his name is DJVCUDA., but as my body is twisted on the frame, I do not have the clearance on one wheel well to do that.

These are a few pictures of my 65 Formula S my joy to the world! Almost fully restored road cruiser! Just needs a good paint job to finish her up after my battle with epilepsy! Now I can drive again after finishing the restoration and upgrades it has sat for over 2 years while I battled seizures! Now after brain surgery I am seizure free , driving again and mover to North side of Chicago back to working on a golf course making golfers happy, growing fine turf and soon when the weather gets nice cruising in the Cuda! Well I see my picts wont show Its posted on another line for my 65 Cuda Pictures. Its early and I am not so good putting up the pictures need my soon to be wife for technical aide!!! LOL

Heres my 65 Barracuda. She is a work in progress and I am working on a fixed up engine.

Joy to my world the 65 Formula S is now sitting covered in my parking lot accross from my apartment! Soon I will be married to the love of my life and moving to her place and the cuda will find a new home in ther driveway (we are widening it and possibly building a cover for my baby!) Must get Mount Prospect, Il and waiting to get the permit to make the improvements to he driveway at her house. I am loving life here now as recovered from my battle with epilepsy, driving again, working again, singing Joy to the World as our theme song! Soon after getting married saving some money the next step on the cuda is a paint job and total electrical redo! She runs great and starts as I say often with three pumps on pedal, varoom, varoom! Loving life here and look forward to Spring and meeting other Mopar lovers at local hang outs! Mopar or No Car!!!!

Here is my 66
Bob

Bob, what is your tire size combo on your car? I have a '65 w/same color scheme with factory wheels/hubcaps and need to "fatten" up under the fenders..do you have original rear end (offset) and are springs OEM height? Many awesome colorful toys here. Thanks to all who contribute!!

Here are some pictures of my '66 Formula S (4-speed). Obviously, this car is a work in progress. I am currently working on getting a new exhaust system and 8-3/4 installed (along with the commensurate items that need to be refurbished (like the leaf springs)).

Anyone know this car? Is that a custom grill, or did he just remove some slats...? Love it!
