Get your suspension dialed in, and you should be able to get a better 60ft and ET.

Here's mine:
904 manual VB
Dana w/4.10's
SS Springs
MP drag shocks in back
Competition Engineering front shocks
MT ET Street Radials 275/60R15

Times in sig

I keep mine set up for 1/4 mile, but I run 1/8 mile at my local track 95% of the time. The reason I keep mine set for 1/4 is simple....once in a while we have 1/4 mile races (like the Monster Mopar Weekend), or I travel to other tracks that run 1/4 mile. I don't want to have to over rev my car to compete...or worse, have to sit out a good race because my car is 1/8 mile only.

This is why I keep my car geared for 1/4 mile....Just my 2 cents.

410 stroker, pump gas, small solid roller, 750 carb, 727, 8" vert, 4.10 gear w/ 28" tire.
Times in sig.

x-cale intake with 950 hp carb
mp dizzy locked out 36 timing
small headers 1 5/8 into 3" pipes and flowmaster mufflers
727 trans with rev valve body and 5600 verta(8")
4.57 gears with no snubber
28x10.5 slick
8gal cell and 1/2 fuel line to front of car
frame tied and mp long drag shocks
and ss springs 02/03
about 3200lbs
went 7.40 at 90mph and 1.67 60'
car would pull wheels and drop them and spin

I want to know how 7172 Duster and his buds are launching so strong! Those are very good 60 foot times. I am using a 3.91 and what are probably stock springs. Where would you guys look for improvements in the launch. Oh yeah, the converter is about 2200 RPM but works well on the backroads I drive at 45-50 MPH at 2200-2500 RPM so I would rather not change it.

Besides, I won't be putting in bars and the car is already too fast.

They have 5,300 converters with 5.13 gears going thru the traps in the 1/4 mile at 7,400 rpm

OK then, it's the converter. Nice launches but not practical for a fast street car. Thx.
