View attachment 1715401600 I’m not sure how old you are but you seem to enjoy cars and working on them. If you are younger start buying good tools and using them. Guys on here will guide you on there use. I had my local shop that does my machine work order me a good straight edge that never leaves my shop so someone doesn’t use it for a prybar. Buy a good spring compressior and it will hold most of its value and won’t leave you down. The money you save doing this yourself goes a long way. I can’t tell you how many springs I’ve taken off with this tool. Cheap? No!!!! Excellent tool??? YES

He's almost as old as we are. So yeah, he's old.

I actually walked into my shop and filled some bins with 6-32 nuts. Went on Facebook and Abodies only then filled another bin with 8-32 nuts and screws. Went on Facebook and Abodies only and filled another bin with 10-32 nuts and screws. Checked out Abodies only, turned out the lights and went to the house to eat some kelby and Kraut. 2 more Halloween races left before the season ends and I’m not sure if I want to go or not.

Just playing around with them this evening. Had a minute to grab a couple gaskets and a micrometer...
I almost couldn't imagine making these any thinner.... Good gravy the CNC ported ones must be like tin foil....

who is watchin' Fred Flintstone ? LOL :D

The dogs...
hey I'm going to throw out some measurements now I'd like to see some of some of your stock Magnum heads?...
I've done "touch up" work in the channels, and a little massaging in the bowl areas on my Magnums. We can compare, that's cool....

Actually METV started from episode one yesterday... I don't even remember the old ones. I must have picked it up in the later Seasons when I was a kid...

you do know, though, that those measurements you have posted aren't the crucial areas to flow.... (and gasket matched is good, don't get me wrong)
Well that's about all I can do with the heads in my lap watching The Flintstones LOL I don't have the flow bench in my electric lazy boy LOL...

My valve springs are good to .550 lift - which my cam is .427/.455 LOL.... WAIT! I'll gain about .030 with the 1.6 Magnum Rockers!!! LOL

like I said they seem pretty thin and hollow, not sure where all the materials coming from to go away...
