Randy, as mentioned earlier, take your time & read the instructions in the rebuild kit before taking the thing apart. You might even document the stages of deconstruction with your phone camera just for reference purposes. At 61, it should be relatively easy to take your time with the rebuild. I'm closer to 70 than 60 & I've been building carbs for over 50 years. Holleys are more in my wheelhouse, but I've done my share of Carter/Edelbrocks, Quadrajets, & others. I still see some different things if I get into a carb that I don't fool with that often. As the old says goes, "measure twice, cut once" that applies to reading the instructions.
