She's trying in there. It will be once I'm comfortable moving gear across the floors. They said give it a full 7 days of hardening on the clear coat before I start dragging stuff across it. So I literally picked up and carried everything Into place. Good they said driving the cars in there was fine after 4 days.

Finally rolled her out and was able to get some pictures of how she looks outside and threw the new headlights in there. Absolutely love the look now. The red is a little off. But I assumed it would be a little off compared to 15 yr old paint.

Finally attended a track rental and finally made some a to b passes on these new radials.

I can finally say that we're in the 8 second club in the 1/4 and 5 seconds in the 1/8. 3 new personal bests yesterday. Back to back to back. Getting faster every pass. I'm still leaving too soft at only 5.5psi so I'll have to figure that out. She definitely wants more on the launch.

Also found that my fuel pressure regulator won't keep up with the fuel pump above 24 psi. So ill have to upgrade that so it can run the right fuel up top where I need it.

Forgive the video quality, I was at the track by myself and didn't know any of the people there yet. But luckily got to know a few and got a couple videos.

Have one more race on October 16th and gonna try and have the 2 issues fixed for that. It's the West coast grudge 275 race on October 16th, winner gets prize money at the end.

100% my fault as in most cases, a technician induced faulty.

Didn't read the manual on my previous fuel pressure regulator. It hits a brick wall between 7p and 75 psi.

New one showed up today. Once I install the stiffer spring it'll be good from 30-120psi instead of 30 to 75.

Got my new regulator and fittings in today. Install tomorrow and then reset base fuel pressure at the regulator and 2 step tuning for the 16th.

Those extreme flow regs are nice. You’ll like it.
She is operating on on 65 psi with the vacuum line unhooked and 58 psi with the -7 vacuum. So we are good to go. I also found that i blew out the header gaskets during thw last pass and being in the 2step.

But we will be right for the last race of the season on the 16th.

Yea you did! There are not a lot of gaskets that’ll hold up to the poppin and bangin on a two step. I’ve had good luck with rem-flex gaskets and a few rounds of torquing after heat cycling a few times.

Race day tomorrow. As well as some bright fall pictures before I loaded her up tonight.

Fixed the exhaust leaks and made some tweaks to the 2 step and she's building 10psi on the brake by 4 seconds. So she she be fully ready to send on sown the track tomorrow.

Qualifying will be 1/8 but testing after that will be 1/4. So if I get knockedout into he 1/8 I won't be too mad. Bhrnilk be shooting for 8.5 or faster to get kicked out. Should get at least one more 1/4 mile pass with her screaming with the new regulator and proper fuel pressure. Fingers crossed, wish me luck.

We'll we had absolute blast this year. From No prep racing on slicks back on the east coast to moving across the US and swapping over to front half only radial racing here on the west coast, Had a lot of learning to do and still much more to go as I've identified some issues with the car that id like to address and some things to make it much more consistent, easier to manage and turnaround at the track. Stay tuned during the winter for some new upgrades/changes to the car to make it a little bit quicker next year with a new goal in mind for next season.

That being said I had a great time at the WCG Gaptoberfest Event Saturday. Despite not being able to build boost and bump in when I was at my target, she left good for only being on 5 psi and consistent enough all day that I could have been a bracket car. I had three 1.3 60 foots, 3 5.5 1/8 mile passes and a new PB of 8.5 at 155 out the back end. Just barely missing my 8.50 goal for the year. Ended up losing 1st round of the event because he was supposed to give me 3 seconds before coming in but his nerves got him and he bumped in earlier than expected. I only ended up making 3 psi before letting go of the button on that pass. I tree'd him but he came around me after the 60 foot and didnt have enough room by the 1/8. Might have had room if we were running to the 1/4. But progress was made, knowledge an experience was earned and ill be applying that next season. Time to take a break for a little bit and get a plan ahead formulated for the offseason.

You have made great progress, it's always a good thing to keep learning how to get better. Hat's off to you through what has been both a busy and exciting year.
