Always something to do that takes time away from the fun. Garage looks good, thanks for the update,I enjoy reading about your progress.

Hey guys I'm back and finally have wifi at the house so I can update everything.

The new converter is showing much better results during the initial 2 step testing. I did that the other day after i drove the dart to the local grocer to get a few things. Have a list of a few test n tune events at pacific raceway that I'm going to try to attend before the west coast grudge event in August.

I also got the digital copies of the pictures he took for the article and man he makes it look way better than it is.

Man that build is just plain out badass, I don't give a chit what motor's in it. Congrats on the article!

Thank you very much. I'm continuing to try to make it better as I always do. Things I've done I see now need to be redone at a professional level and now that I have the time and rhe space I'll be taking my time to do it better than before.

Can't wait to get around to the garage floor after the AC system is done. It will be a epoxy.coating from ucoat-it and should go very well with the house.

Looks like you got lots of ink; quite a few pages, which means they probably REALLY liked it! Congrats!

They liked it alot because it's still a full interior street car with nice interior and exterior. Not just a stripped out racecar. It is an all around csr not just one or 2 dimensional. A few of their others got less because thats all they were.

Got the bumpers pulled off today and dropped them off to a local shop to be painted body color to match the dart.
Then loaded the dart and my garage stuff in the trailer so I can start on the garage epoxy stuff when it shows up tomorrow.

And the garage heater will be wired up tomorrow as well so when I get to work this offseason I can stay warm up here.

Looks really good, but please tell us you're painting those bolts too.
Yes. He was supposed to but didn't. He did give me the touch up for it. Same way with the back bumpers.

The whole car may be redone soon depending on if I go to a fiberglass fenders and trunk lid this winter.

if the bolts are chrome or stainless i'd blast them first so the paint has something to key to properly. if not it will come off sooner or later.
neil.
That would definitely be in the plan or sand them nice and smooth to break through the coating and give it something to grab onto.

Are the bumper bolts the same finish as the fender-mounted turn signal indicators? If you reconditioned the signal indicators, maybe make the bumper bolts match.

The fender turn signal indicators are the original chrome ones from 75.

Well it's been curing since Friday at lunch time. So i got everything moved back in for the most part. Much happier in there now. Although the clearance is tight with the dart over there with the chute installed.

But I did get the new red back bumper back on the dart and situated.

Standby for some full exterior pics tomorrow of the dart in the sun tomorrow.
