RHS flow #'s

Hell yeah! In 91 I put a stock 69 dart swinger 340 together with roller rockers, 3/8" Manton push rods, Clay Smith .525"/308 solid, cleaned up factory x heads, 10.5-1, Torker 340, Hookers, 3.91's and 4 speed = 7000+ RPM well over 400 HP!
Can't wait to get this new combo together.

Louis would be proud of me...I accidentally took it to 7000rpm. Not a hint of valve float or lifter pump! It was CLEAN!!

I have a low gear 904 and 4.56 gear so it climbs rpm very fast!

I might change the intake, and take it to Irwindale drag strip on a thursday just to see what she does.
Nice follow up to the build....

Thanks Brian, last dyno charge I seen was $300 for 3 pulls.

That is really good with that HYD cam!! Did Rob have to change his underwear????? Just kidding Rob......:toothy10:

<<<< Will probably never run a hydraulic cam in a "hot" motor again.

p.s. wylde and crazy....love the avatar pic!

I will find out today and let you guys know if the Magnum stuff will work. Louis is right both heads are the same except for: intake bolt pattern and one uses studs and the other uses shafts. Everything else is the same!

Brian, sounds like you're busy...good thing! Did you even confirm this? I have a set on the way for a buddy's motor and we want to stud it...

Thanks!

Well you didn't buy them from me...LOL!

We are working with ARP right now to build a set and issue a part#. It may be a week or two so be patient.
The lower bolts are same as OEM LA heads, the top bolts are 4.300 UHL using a head bolt washer.
They are shorter than both OEM LA long bolt, and Magnum but still plenty long enough. We wanted to allow some milling on the heads, so OOTB they are perfect, milled they will not bottom in the block. You'd have to mill them .250 for that to happen!!

Thats alotta mill on a allready small chambered head.

Ya, I kind of got that about the miling, just saying, a 1/4 inch is alot.

No we didn't...sorry 'bout that. He ordered them a couple of days BEFORE I knew you had them. I've got a set of EQ's on the way from a private party to play with on the bench, BUT...I will probably go with RHS's for my street/strip deal and YOU BET I'll source from you!

Good news on the studs. PLEASE post here or email me at pactranssales@aol.com and I'll be quick to get a set!

Thanks!!
