I bet.
Shows what a seemingly basic combo can do.
But...put a solid in it! lol

Louis would be proud of me...I accidentally took it to 7000rpm. Not a hint of valve float or lifter pump! It was CLEAN!!
I have a low gear 904 and 4.56 gear so it climbs rpm very fast!
I might change the intake, and take it to Irwindale drag strip on a thursday just to see what she does.
Nice follow up to the build....
I will find out today and let you guys know if the Magnum stuff will work. Louis is right both heads are the same except for: intake bolt pattern and one uses studs and the other uses shafts. Everything else is the same!
Brian, sounds like you're busy...good thing! Did you even confirm this? I have a set on the way for a buddy's motor and we want to stud it...
Thanks!
Thats alotta mill on a allready small chambered head.
I think he is saying that you would need to mill them .250 for them to bottom out. So the bolt/stud kit will have plenty of room to work with.

Well you didn't buy them from me...LOL!
We are working with ARP right now to build a set and issue a part#. It may be a week or two so be patient.
The lower bolts are same as OEM LA heads, the top bolts are 4.300 UHL using a head bolt washer.
They are shorter than both OEM LA long bolt, and Magnum but still plenty long enough. We wanted to allow some milling on the heads, so OOTB they are perfect, milled they will not bottom in the block. You'd have to mill them .250 for that to happen!!
ha ha Good work indeed, but way too much *** kissing going on here.
So is he doing the kissing or am I?? LOL?? He did say he wouldn't cheat on me...
Justin, just happy to finally find someone who knows what the hell they are doing...........been jacked by a few people as you already know!
You wanna run it or what???????:angry7:
Yes it would be fun for sure! Trying for Fontana on 28th of this month if schedule works out.
To get that chamber volume up I drop the valve job .025 on both valves. It's 50.00 more. That makes them usable on flattop 360's zero decked.
What does sinking the valves like this do to the flow numbers?
