Roadkill and other Motortrend shows are cancelled.

I don't know if pure vision is returning or not. Phantom Works is no longer around, neither is Garage squad and over hauling

Probably, it's a show that's hard to get into. I even stopped watching graveyard cars because of all of the drama.
What? It's the most simple premise there is. It's literally what I do with my cars, improve where I can, when I can. You don't need a ton of money to have fun with these cars, they're simple to work on, and most parts you'll need are still available. It can't get any more basic.

I like it when they do have a simple budget friendly build. Most of the budget programs are gone. Iron Resurrection and Kingdig are cool but the average joe can't afford them. It's the same thing with racing it's pretty much for the rich.

Wow, digging up some relics!

Hand Built Hot Rods (Steve Strope of Pure Vision) done in 2018

Fantomworks done in Jan 2019

Garage Squad ended three years ago in 2021

And the overrated, played out Overhaulin' ended in 2020. They had a five year gap between season 9, and the final season. I guess no one missed it as bad as they had hoped.

Freiberger (sp) just put out a pretty decent explanation on his YT channel. I’ll just subscribe to his channel going forward…

That's the kind of talk when you have a "can't-do" attitude. When people really have the drive to do something they use some ingenuity, figure out ways and accept the risks instead of finding reasons why it's not worth trying. Then in old age they'll go around saying "I wish I had done this and that, if only I had done such-and-such."

I can do things, it's just a lot more money even for the simple things

What happened to Hand Built Hot Rods? I heard that Fantomworks pulled out on their own. Garage Squad couldn't keep it's team together and overhaulin I don't miss.

Well, there's a total budget 360 in the works

For what? Every car that comes up, you had some excuse why it won't work. Why build an engine when you have no car?

You don't need a "race" engine to get into racing. We don't all start out in Top Fuel.

what a horrible show.. that clown fakes so much drama.. and if you look close when they are showing the cars in certian light you can see a real mess of body and paint.. that stupid show is on in the mornings still *reruns) and i can't stand it.

You never know what may be in the garage.

As long as those type shows have sponsors that throw parts and tools at them, they are bullshit. No real honest to goodness gearhead should be impressed with any of them. They are insulting to every car guy who has a budget....or lack thereof.

I watch YT more than regular TV. The commercials on YT are killer but at least you can click "Skip" at some point... you can look anything up and find it. I had a Pontiac T 37 a 1971 model once and I found one on YT it brought back memories as I dont have pics of my car...
With student discount, removing the commercials is about $7.xx a month. Worth it.
