Short update

After a long time with NO progress I was able to sort out the trans setup/kickdown cable + new radiator and trans cooler as well as all the cooling hose.

I am going with a Amazn special. ALU RADIATOR with E Fans.

I also fixed and welded up a 2.5 in. Xpipe exhaust setup with Summit 2 chamber mufflers.
It's nice and tight.
I'm sure it will sound like a hotrod.

I hope I will be able to start her up and break it in during the end of this week :)

I love it reminds me of my Dart when I had the 318 in it same deal header wrap etc. with a 4 speed though but looked just like that...

Runs and Drives i switched from the 750 DP carb to a Holley 670 street avenger Vac Secondary.the 750' had a sgtripped Squirter bolt and was leaking plus the 750 is just to big IF you not racing with that mild of a engine..
i have Summit racing down the street and there OUTLET center has "returns" for really good prices so i got the 670' for under 300$ brand spanking new.

she has good power i think , yes she needs more driving and tuning but im happy with the result...

That 670 Holley will run great, double check the float levels, & please ditch that tiny air filter....I wouldn't run one that small on My built Slanty...
Glad You're rollin', that's the best part!!!

Only filter that sticks trough the hood into the air scoop. The usual size is to big plus the hole is centered on the hood but the engine sits offset as you know.

Why build an engine to perform......& kill the performance with a restrictive air filter.
Guys again ... this is a 13 $ filter that just sits on top for the hood scoop access,
I can just take it off and put a screen on the 4150!
You guys overthink it.

Yes they do and everyone is drag racing here...what is wrong with a stock build 300 horse 340?

P.S. and X and J heads suck yet you don't see them going for a cheap any where LOL!
