Little bit of ATTITUDE, there, dude! Those 245s do fill out the back wheelwells nicely. That's what I'm shooting for with the ragtop, though the previous owner swapped out the hubs, brakes, axles, and power plant with the guts from a '76 Dart. It's lively, but not a barn burner. Nice photo, too! I like the low angle and the mostly blank wall background. Well done!!!

Hey thanks Ragtop. Photo was taken in the Red Hook neighborhood which is down by the water in Brooklyn. Used to be kind of a rough part of town, with lots of 'character', now getting gentrified. Theres lots of places like this old warehouse around though so there's still some charm left.

I wanted the street sweeper look with the wheel and tire combo, glad you dig it.

Here's mine. '65 Valiant 100, 225 Slant 6, 904 column shift, 7.25" rear, yer regular no-frills grandma car. Red bench interior, rubber floor mats, radio delete.

Nice look on that Valliant!!! I want to experiment with a bigger tire/wheel combo on the rear. Looks tough. Nothing wrong with a leaning tower of power under the hood. It probably gets 25 mpg or so. toolmanmike

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Gas mileage isn't bad, but definitely not 25mpg. Probably 17-18mpg. The electronic ignition definitely helped in that regard.

Not sure if I'm going to keep the car, I have been having an internal debate with myself about it. I even started a thread about it in the general discussion forum.

I've considered several engine combos, everything from a hopped up Slant with an 833OD, a hot 273 or a 360-based stroker.

Nice car Timor! Tell us more about it.

Thanks,
Mike
Its a 1965 Valiant by Chrysler (Chrysler Australia that is) model code AP6
(the 6th Australian designed/produced body style)
as you can see the front half is prety much the same as a Plymouth Valiant only RHD,
its actually the first Australian produced car to offer a factory V8, the 273.
My one was 225 man-3 on the tree from the factory but I put a 440 in it.
