My peewee 340

Looks good! Clean look. I'm really leaning towards painting my Edelbrock light blue for a stock look.

Thanks! I was shooting for a stock look, even if the motor really isn't stock. Now that I am working on going EFI, don't think I will be able to maintain that look.

Does the hood close on that 6 Pack without a scoop? I was thinking on doing that to my 69 Barracuda, but I want the stock hood to close.
Yes. However I had to trim the hood braces and the back of the hood brace. I also had to trim the air filter. If I used mopars air cleaner I would not have to trim anything. But I used a Mr. Norms air cleaner. Yes it's a stock hood.

lol sorry my thumb must have hit the button when scrolling..opps. yes all very nice!

There is alot of good looking enginecompartments in this thread!
And I'm glad I started the thread. There is a lot of different combinations so far. Keep em' coming guys!

Last winters project.... the low dollar 318. Getting it going last spring...

I want to paint it, but it's a Leanna powdercoat masterpiece. Seems sacrilege to put paint on it. I have no excuse for the water pump but laziness..

I don't recognize that motor Ben. I don't believe it had anything to do with me, but I like the way you think. LOL!!!

Just looked at a Hot Rod 318 poly build..stroked to 402 it made 547hp and 566 ft.lbs

Yeah the Poly blocks can be bored over .100 and still have good wall thickness, along with a stroker crank you can build a big inch motor, and the heads are decent to work with. THis one is going to be mild with the 3 Holley 94s, some lakes headers, a mild cam and some mild porting on the heads with 9 to 1 compression

here is a pair of 318's, an LA and a Magnum I have sitting in the storage shed.... never know :D
