Been lurking for quite some time. Lot of great cars, people, and info here. Thought I'd share my '67 Dart post.

Here's my 1971 Aussie A-body wagon (VG model) that I built up about a dozen years ago (which is why the photos look old). A few friends and I squeezed a 440 up front and had a bit of fun street racing with it. Had a 727 trans and a cut down 8 3/4in (3.23 ratio) diff with 15in rims (custom 8in wide on the rear). It wasn't the world's fastest streeter but it would see off an Mitsubishi Evo or WRX easy enough.

I've still got the wagon but it's only running a hemi six these days and it's Hemi Orange in colour, but it was a hell of alot of fun back then.

I'll post my next project later. It's a 361 into a Aussie A-body ute (pickup).

WOW these r some nice cars, hopefully i will have mine done in time to bring it to Carlisle this year, young guns class. need to finish my s60 install, and put a cage in it

Do you have a GoPro camera to see on the other side of that huge blower? I will be your navigator if you don't. That looks completely evail, evil does not describe it accurately enough. :evil5: Maybe have a priest bless it. :angel10:
But it does look AWESOME!!!

i did get it out to a few tnt's last season BUT there aways seemed to be some little thing go wrong. first i come up with the idea of milling the intake so i wouldn't have to glue it on. i figured intake gaskets and off she come, seemed like a good idea at the time. so off to tnt we go. well once i started it she was spitting alcohol out of the head onthe passenger side. the machinist came out to my garage and said he can fixed it. ok, good. get it back and this time i use my pea and start it up in the yard, same crap. so i call a bud in florida and ask him the milling angle.take it back and have the guy mill it correctly and cut the drivers side to the same height. ok but wait now the intake is too short to reach the heads. luckily i have another bud down there to make me .060" spacers. fixed it. of to tnt and from washing the intake so much it spits alcohol out the the burst panel screws back home to fix that. got it done and off we go to tnt and the magneto is giving me trouble. tried to put spare one in but i couldn't get the drive to come off. back at the garage i changed it out and back to tnt. by now it's almost the end of the racing season but off to tnt we go. she is making good power and leaves hard only to start missing so i keep in it until high gear. the track is an 1/8 mile so i coast across the finish line at a 6 flat. back at the pits i fine the offending plug and head to the starting line. she leaves hard again and just at the top of second gear the hotrod gets covered with 50wt oil. i can't see anything and stop. turns out the high pressure #12 off the kb oil pump came out of it's fitting. it's a good thing i had a oil catch pan but it all caught on fire and the on board extinguisher did it's job. end of tnt for the season. now i'm waiting on 66PlyValiant to fix the tbi that i purchased from him for my tow truck so i can get it out to tnt this season.
