That is looking old school good right there.

Getting closer. Had to change everything. Waiting on the radiator and a few other things.

I don't know the boost numbers on mine but there's definitely boost an it hauls a!!. I haven't switched to the ten rib but haven't noticed any slippage. And I just installed the 2.85 top pulley on mine with the lower 6 inch pulley. I gotta tell you these things are a blast. I just installed 4:10 s an can't wait till I get the driveline cut to length an try it again with the 4:10s! Have fun.Want to sell the bottom 6 rib pulley? Mine has a couple teeth knocked out of it. Whatever this thing does, its going to do. It is strictly a fun driver. Though I will def. take it to the track and see what she will do.
Question for everybody running similar combo's, when you type your combination into this calculator: http://performancetrends.com/Calcul...-Calculator/Supercharger-Boost-Calculator.php Do you get crazy boost numbers like it is purposing mine will make? is it just wrong?
Jury is still out on the size. I thought it was the older 162-4 ? But met some guy at good guys who had the exact same one claimed he bought it directly from dick Landry back in the day an said it was a 177 I don't know. But I'm happy with it what ever it is.What size motor and what size blower are you running?
Egag has pulley spacers that can be ordered with a 2.25" female register (to mate up to a sb Mopar harmonic ballancer) and a 2" male register on the other side. Simply stack combinations of spacers, V pullies, and serpentine pulley....These already have the same 6 on 2.76" bolt pattern as the balancer has.
How much boost are you running now? With your current setup.
X2 looks like a 144 and will give around 5PSI144 with small upper pulley will give you 4-5 psi.
What is your compression and cam now? This is a big factor.
MoparDude318 has great info for using a 10 rib belt and pulley system. I would definitely recommend it for the 174 and would recommend it for 162 applications where high boost (8PSI) and high engine RPMs will be seen under racing conditions. However, on a mild build with a small 144 blower, the 6 rib will be fine. 10 rib conversions are expensive$$$$.Pretty cool. These little things are sweet. I have a NOS B&M kit I haven't got around to yet. Ditch that 6 rib pulley Pos ASAP and go straight to 10 rib...if you can that is. Since no one ever made a 10 rib crank pulley for the SBM, I had one designed after the one in my kit, took months for my friend to machine it for me. LOL. I then bought a new blower snout 1" shorter, available through Weiand, again, those aren't cheap. The extra 4 ribs in the pulley was exactly 1" so I got lucky with that!
