Well, the tooth saga continues. I had the evaluation done today by the DMD and her prognosis is that I need a root canal and cap. If she finds that the tooth is too compromised when she opens it up, I go back to the oral surgeon for extraction. She sounds confident it will be able to be fixed though.

Bad news is that it’s 2 weeks until it can be done. I called multiple other practices to see if there was anything sooner anywhere (5 different offices with 27 DMDs total) and this is the soonest anyone can do it.

Looks like I just have to plow through the pain and hope the infection doesn’t come back.

Does it hurt much? I need a root canal but, like the knee surgery they say I need, I'm puttin' it off indefinitely. Just maximize sanitation. It doesn't hurt though. The tooth I mean. The knee hurts all the time. Lotta people say you're better off pullin' it and gettin' a bridge and not screwin' with a root canal at all. Logic is: It's a dead organ layin' around your head slowly rotting. Come to think of it I have one of those but it's not a tooth, not quite dead yet and I keep it soaked in alcohol to inhibit, but obviously not stop, the decay.

It hurts a fair bit, but not like it did when the abscess was raging. Mine is the last molar on the bottom, so no bridge possible. It needs to have a root canal and cap put on. But all of that is contingent on what they find when they open up the tooth. If the crack goes past the safe repair area, out it comes.

Good thing its the last one. It will almost be like taking wisdom teeth out. Hope all goes well Dave.
 
Ended up tearing down the t56 last night. Stupid simple transmission. Yet super strong. Looks really good inside, gonna upgrade a couple things to let it handle about 700 ft lbs. but hardly any wear. And I weighed it, comes it 12 pounds lighter than a A883
 
Good morning all. Was upper 40s and rain the other day, now 16° and wind is ripping. Brrrr
 
60 for the high yesterday, all I know is it is cold outside this morning 39 degrees, last three days it has been 45 degrees to start our day out.
Not bad at all for January :thumbsup:

I hear ya 62 yesterday at this hour, 16 right now with wind chill, actual temp, 22.
 
OEM green. He found thr right green vynal top for it also. That car was a ton of work, frame off. Still lots to do on it and unfortunately I am pretty jammed up prob till after Carlisle to help him out with it!:mad:

DB here is a pix of the adaptor piece I used on my T60 it fits perfect, not sure if you have sorted out drive shaft yet or not but this piece solves a lot of problems.

Inpala today, see why heat is crappy.
And a sunfire for a coolant leak.
Snap on day today.maybe my impact is coming back.

Customer diy’d a p/s pump and broke a bolt in the shaft,then broke an easy out trying to get bolt out. He’s a gorilla and has a habit of doing things like this.
Think i can bail him out.
