I took the Valiant for a ride yesterday before the snow.
That's enough to make it worth firing up.Here ya go.. Guess I'll go break out the snowblower in a while

Might be in the front of the wiring area where they show the plugs! No idea. I couldn't find a part number in either '67 or '68 parts book. Might be there but I can't find it so no cross references
Not good. Really flared up last night and this morning. Probably the worst day for pain so far
Any one interested in it?I took the Valiant for a ride yesterday before the snow.
Not to mention the tips of my fingers and thumbs from manipulating the window and rubber.
Some. I thought I had it sold yesterday but the guy low balled me. I don't mind a reasonable offer but I hate being lowballed. I told him I will give it away before he would get itAny one interested in it?

Actually I might. Heat can help to relax the muscles BUT inflamation needs cold.I wish I had a recommendation for you...
Hang in there...
Have to make a couple long nuts
For the balance adjusters.
Was thinking of using some acme threaded rod, but i only have left hand thread. My lathe is omnidirectional so thats a no go.
Will thread some hex bar for 3/4” all thread.
Heres one, just finished the second one. View attachment 1715274976Let the welding begin!
Absolutely satisfied. Not to mention after blowing my half...
I had a neighbor stop by last week. He has a gorgeous 65 Mustang. Set up for auto x. He was checking out the Duster saying it was a cool project and when he got to the engine compartment he was taken back a bit. He wasn’t expecting that. Then came what I kinda saw as sideways complements. He said he wished he had the skills to do this type of work ie. floor pans, suspension, engine etc. that he has to pay someone to do everything. Then proceeds to talk about his 408 stroker built by one of the premier race engine builders in the area. And his custom suspension that some Mustang guru from down south put in and set up for him and all the time shipping it here and there, and cash he’s put into this car. Now please don’t get me wrong it is a work of art. Certainly a car to be proud of and enjoy! He seems to be a decent enough guy. It just kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Would love to have someone like your neighbor around to bounce ideas off of or get advice or even just shoot the crap with. Makes me very greatfull I found this forum and the Coffee Shop. Rant over!Nope Im not. ANd he said he would come look at my project to see how to fix my issue. That quarter I put on has a little stretch in it, He said you used a flanger didn't you...I said yes. He said not to. Explained it in a way that I think this guy knows what he is talking about. And he is not an arrogant know it all. A really nice guy.
Looks like we have about 4 inches ....
Wow, now they are saying 8 - 12 total , when all is said and done... ........
Heck no! Maybe 2 inches. They were calling for 2-5
Tell him its too bad he didn't go to Mike Maier - if he serious about winning.I had a neighbor stop by last week. He has a gorgeous 65 Mustang. Set up for auto x. Uhm Tikes is green and he did say he took it out yesterday!Catching up reminded me of a news story that I heard on the radio this week...
There was a crime committed in Terra Houte, IN and the perp was driving a green Valiant... I forgot what the crime was.... And they didn't say what year or range of years the green valiant was...
So anybody see a green Valiant near Tera Houte, IN, get a license number and call the police...
