Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got the alignment done on the Duster. Dropped her off at the exhaust shop. Hoping he will be able to finish it before closing time.

I went back in my files and dug out a lunar photograph series I did about 6 years ago trying to capture the full moon cycle. The quality of each image varies based on temperature and thermal currents along with dust and moisture in the atmosphere. These images were all shot free hand using my Sony DSC100HX by aiming between two tree limbs on a tree in our side yard that accounted for about 2* of sky. It isn’t a complete cycle since I got rained out for the last few parts

Just did my TSA precheck screening and now watching No Prep Kings with a fire in the fireplace. How is everyone doing?

Watching TV in the fireplace again? Must get hot in there with the fire. At least you have made the fire your TV watching buddy.

Some kind of upset stomach this evening. Dunno. Wife used the swiffer wet jet, i think it doesent agree with me.

Well, the winds are finally starting to die down. 12* outside but the wind chills are hovering at zero instead of -15*.

We had winds at 27-35 mpg all day but they are down to 10-12 mph now. I had a hard time holding the garage at 47* all day but it has slowly creeped up to 49* in the past hour. In normal Winter temps, I can hold it at 60*+

Tomorrow begins the slow warm up back into the normal temperature range by Wednesday afternoon. I will take it.

About the same here,Dave.
At present its 12,or -11c
Wind was atrocious today.
-30 without wind felt warmer.
Shop was well into the 60’s today, unlike friday it was tough to get it over 50.
Tomorrow will be nice, and have a plow truck to troubleshoot electrical problem.

Yeah, the wind is a killer. It strips the heat out of buildings as if it were the actual temp. At least without the wind you have a bit of a heat envelope that slows the heat loss even when it’s colder.

12...25...what’s the dif? LOL!

This is why I cross check 3 different weather sites before drawing my own conclusions.

Well, today was a big day for me and my family. With the final disbursement of my father’s estate plus my years of saving efforts, I am now in a place where if I should die tomorrow (God forbid) my family will be financially secure and able to continue their lives in this home without undue burden.

I hate the thought of somehow not being around for the future...but knowing that if somehow I am not, they will be secure. And that gives me great peace of mind.

Now, I just need to finish the savings plan so I can retire before I am too old to enjoy it.

Me and the hound are burrowed up to the fire, wife is throwing clay tonight. Warmed right up today but wind was howling. Needed both hands on truck doors, but it was over zero all day! See you boys and one lady in the a.m.

Was in the 50s early on, dropping fast, calling for snow and 50mph winds tomorrow. Should be a fun day.
