Stop in for a cup of coffee

Why? I would think the clear would blend fine with block and buffing. Getting good color match is usually the tough part.
The issue I can see is the thickness of the paint. Almost needs to be filled with lots of high fill primer, or lots of coats of color, like original, 6 coats of enamel..if sands smooth, will be a bad ripple to blend...been like this for three years, no idea how to fix easily..

I would want to sand it an feather back anyway to be sure it was not going to pick up farther out in the future. Sounds like a lot of block work, but that would be my initial plan anyway. Be nice if you could get some pics and get @GeorgeH opinion.

I dont know where the money will come from to work on it....Am going to refresh the resto, about four year old complete resto modded by me. Needs under hood mostly.
It run? Just drive it and enjoy it until finances allow

I hooe i found the issue with the sunfire.
Insurance used to require an immobilizer. It breaks the fuel pump circuit. So i uninturrupted it. Permanently. There is probably an extra 6-8 feet of wire to immobilizer, and whatever is involved in it.
My circuit tracer picked up an intermittent circuit. I think it should be either open or closed.
It was oscillating. Will let it cool for 1/2 hour and repeat road test.

Mopar Joe is all pumped up. Sounds like we have the Drag Strip rented for August 3rd. and 4th. for our Mopar Max weekend. Much better than mid October when it's colder than a well diggers ***. LOL I might have to ask Dave if he can help me with the flyer set up.
TMM,
Keep us posted, Iowa is not that far for a smack talking "Pro-bench" weekend of all Mopar fun. We could load race trailer up and head down.
John

Will do. We may just have it on Sunday only if there's a conflict but I'll advertise the heck out of it here for sure.

Ahhh that first sip of evening coffee is almost as good as the waking-up coffee.

Was trying to think what I wanted for lunch then suddenly I knew exactly. Ten bucks and this was after I'd already had one piece of flounder and a few hushpuppies. And maybe I'd had a fried oyster already! They are strictly takeout so I always come to this boat launch nearby. Pretty good for less than 2 weeks since I had my guts rearranged!

Wow, they haven't been able to fix your tooth yet??? :wtf:

I hope they can get to it soon...
Root canal is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Earliest appointment I could get. I am more than ready to get it fixed. Of course this is just the first part. Will need the crown put on afterwardin the next couple of weeks.

Good to hear Dave. I remember when I got my first crown, they put a temporary and I thought it was a permanent one. I got a call a week later from the office that my crown was in. I explained that I already had one and it was working well. LOL

It seems so wrong and outrageous that you've had to wait this long. You're a better man than I, I would have gone crazy I guess, I don't know what I would have done.

I really had no options but to bear with it and wait. I’m just glad the abscess didn’t come back. That pain was completely intolerable and I would have yanked it out with a pair of rusty pliers if that had gone on much longer.

Way better than here. It was 15* with a -10* windchill all day. I never left the house!

No doubt! I didn't catch much of the eclipse last night, it was very clear but too chilly, mid-30's but it felt so cold.

I was trying to get a little color on my face today so people I run into will see I am doing well and not sickly.

Customer picked up her car, and i guess no news is good news.
Thats usually the case.

Bought a 94 ram2500 a while back. Last owner’s brother wants it,for a yard truck/plow truck. Decided i will let it go. Saves me some money, time and a bunch of work.
