Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well, today was no fun at all. Woke up with atrial fibrillation going like mad and it didn’t stop. At 4 pm, I went to the ER and spent all evening there. I just got home an hour ago with a packet of blood thinners and the referral for a cardiologist. They couldn’t make it stop.

Then, just as fast as it started...bam. It stopped about 30 mins ago. Back to normal rhythm.

I will still take the blood thinners and see the cardiologist though. This episode was scary
Be careful with your health Dave. Best wishes from here in VN..

My buddy had a-fib.
At least thats what doc figured.
He had a stroke 3 years ago and was on blood thinners since.
They put a recording monitor in and have checked it every 3 months. Battery is done and has not had an episode since his stroke.

No, it is just one episode. Last one was 2-1/2 years ago. Cardiologist will figure out the best way to go, but the usual next steps are a rhythm control drug and blood thinners.

How do you know you are in a-fib? When my BP and Pulse went up and when into a chill/shake they thought maybe I was in a-fib. Part of why I have a monitor on... Been on for a week. So far it has not caught anything that I am aware of. New meds seem to be controlling BP very well, only thing is now my pulse tends to run higher.

An unusual treat here this evening, an electrical storm  about 2 hours worth. Sat on the porch and watched until the cold and wind drove me back inside.

Well emailed a couple members. Ran across recent post talking about their 67 383 4 speed. Yep no stone left unturned. All seemed so far more than willing to talk cars and tell me no. That's ok, I enjoy it.
I did buy an original radio off one guy. Mine under the tuning knob the double prong that the knob seeded in was broken off at the halfway point. The knob just sat on it and not well. Besides my old radio had been modified and had a bunch of old wires running out of it. This one is nice and clean.

Saw the radio pretty nice.

I thought so too. Matt is such a nice guy. Still going back and forth talking 67's.
Of all things he's looking for a correct dipstick. Sending him a pic of mine today.
