I got the parts to fix the impala yesterday minus the fender at a local yard here yesterday...

The fender is down in Peoria and my BIL can pick it up sometime and I can get it from him...

Now just to get the insurance company to pay out so I can get it fixed... They are now over 6 weeks and counting...

Guess who I'm not gonna renew with....
 
Well, two months and no sign of a mouse in the house...

Then two weeks ago the bait was stolen from the traps again...

Caught one last weekend and another one yesterday...

Hopefully that is all there is... But I have the traps set just in case there's more...
 
I don't like that cat that my son adopted a couple months ago... The one that we couldn't find for a few weeks...

We barely ever see it... I finally saw it on Wednesday and we doubled up and tried to catch him... He ran into the kitchen and the boy tried to pick it up, it went nuts and bit and scratched him...

The bite was in the web of his hand between the thumb and first finger... It was so bad that Thursday he couldn't move the hand and they sent him home from work to see the first aid center...

They claim that it's not infected, but the bite is real deep possibly near a tendon... The cat is up to date on all of his shots... He missed two days of work because of it...

I hope he takes my recommendation to return it to the people that he got it from...

Then we can go to a shelter and look at some and pick out one that is real friendly with people...
 
Not to mention that the cat hasn't caught any of the mice either... :mad:

Another reason to fire him from the job.... :mob:
 
Not looking forward to finishing the job i started.
I hope its worth the effort.
Im sure it will turn out nice.
 
6 a.m. and plenty dark here, can't wait till "sunset". Weather is supposed to be okay, think I'll start a fire in the pit this afternoon and throw some ribs on the grill!
