Speaking of stangs, about three years ago I came very very close to buying a 70 Mustang 428 SCJ with a factory drag pack. It was sweet!!
In the end I went with the 55 Chevy.

Then shoots me a bill for 250 for disassembling the block at the machine shop and the inspection. If I want it back have to go to NJ and pick it up and pay the bill!!!!!!! I was a bit pissed off now and got him thrown off of here. Did not really cost me anything already the belve paid itself off a few times over.

Thanks, Ray. This morning im out to see a guy not far from here that parted out a bodies since the 80’s and has a building full of stuff. Very knowledgeable.
Has a decent trunk lid for me,and claims he has a box full of body plugs. And maybe a radio antenna. Sells me stuff at reasonable prices too. Gave me 2 complete doors for 40 bucks.
He called me last night said he will be at the farm today.

Has been collecting parts to do up a ‘66. His last one. Getting an aussie 6 cyl for it.
 
And there is another lead. 65 i was after when i first got mine is back up for sale. But its been in swamp storage for a lot of years,its my understanding the front seats are on the ground.
So it likely wont even roll. /6-4spd
 
Hell man that's sounds like the one I got almost no floor in it. Take the parts you need and sell the rest, as you know they are not cheap. Prob sold 2K off the one I have and there is still plenty left to it. Surprised on one wants the window reulators of the wiper motor and complete linkage yet.
The driveshafts go for decent money so do the 9" front hubs.
What is interesting the rear window is hard to give away!
