Started off productive this morning. Moved door latch on my back door of quonset from outside to inside. No more walking around building to open it.
Made a puller for flywheel on buddy’s merc outboard.
Changed stator and still dead on two cyls. Told him the switchbox he borrowed was bad,he wouldnt accep it and proceeded to piss around with it for 5 days.
Today, took it to a guy with a known good switchbox and guess what? Spark on all 4.
Told him. “Known good part”
First one definitely wasnt.

2380 sq ft two story.. have a New Carrier A/C and 80,000 variable furnace just installed.... the average bills were from my 22 year old system.. expect to see some savings from new units..
That’s twice ours dang

I always wondered how gas and electric bills were throughout the country, mine are averaged at $83 electric and $68 gas WNY...
made me look.
Like Dukey I general think in terms of summer vs winter bills.
Anyway, last 12 months avg $50/month for electric and $92/month for city gas.
Gas is for cooking and heating. Not bad for a 140 year old furnace. The gas burner is newer - went in late 30s or early 40s. There's a small savings if the summer dry, I'll shut the pilot off.
Electric heat for the back kitchen. Roll up unit is only A/C, but it did get used quite a bit last summer.

Just got some sad news. Kit Car Phil died today. He was a friend that was into Mopar Kit cars. Lives in my area and we hung out at Farmington and local car shows together. RIP Phil

Plumber is showing up to repair pipe between tank and house.
Bunch of cast pipe in basement has to go, better off to pay the guy that knows what he’s doing and has all the tools and stuff.

Did i mention he owes me big time? Ya i been helping with his car all summer. And not charging him a dime.
39 dodge with a chevy stroker 383.
Last part of the puzzle is to get front end lined up.

Anything will work.

I had to ask. We don't get many of those out here. I do know I consumed a considerable amount of Pacifico while watching a spectacular electrical storm off the coast of Puerto Vallarta some years ago. Fun little place where you could order a Bucket of your beverage of choice.

Got a lot dun yesterday, even took time to empty the little fridge, it had 5 cold Bud lites in it :D all this music equipment had to be cleaned up and tested, it was all in the middle of the shop floor and very dusty when I drove to pick it all up, that set of drums was mine and little brothers 27 years ago, great to have them given back to me, PA system is being stored here for a family member, it's been all checked out and works well.
Know to get back to all my car parts this morning before the heat of the day moves in.
Good morning early risers
