Yesterday, neighbor and I got the driver's side aftermarket rear inner door panel in the convertible.
Initially I didn't think it was going to work. A little modifications and couple new drill holes to button it up.
The rear side of it against the back seat sits 1/4 to 1/2" higher than the passenger side. You'd never notice unless you knew.
I figured its safe to tell you, because you old farts will have forgotten by the next time you see the car...

I'm not sure never could find one. I bought it at Carlisle a couple years ago.
Looks just like the real thing. The top which has the three screw holes attaching at the rear window trim is flat instead of the slight slope factory ones had.
You put it up initially and it looks to be a 1/2 inch off at the back end from fitting. I drilled a new screw hole for the back and floor bracket. Like I sad sits a smidge higher but no big deal.
Might have time today to work on my OWN distribs! Have not done one since Carlisle!
Well I guess "my time" is short when your making money!!
Yup been doing a crapload of 100 point and a bunch of custom ones, The hundred point take most of the day to do. Really hard to make them look new.

Janesville is about 2 hours from me....
So if there is 12 V on both sides of the coil primary, no current is running through it.
Whether that's because the points are open, not connecting to ground, or something else...???

still havent heard from customer,owner cant drive vehicle, i asked that the son call,hes the one driving it. So we booked the day, but not the time. I know it needs parts,but son needs to call so i can order correct stuff. Frustrating.

Correct, no current running through it, but you don't know the reason for it until further tests.
