Where you at?
Well sleep or find a slezzy truck stop and catch some ZZZZ. Besides do you really have a schedule, or is it just where you'd like to be??Hey men. Stopping for some sleep. Will put me behind schedule
What brand?Yesterday, neighbor and I got the driver's side aftermarket rear inner door panel in the convertible.
Initially I didn't think it was going to work. A little modifications and couple new drill holes to button it up.
The rear side of it against the back seat sits 1/4 to 1/2" higher than the passenger side. You'd never notice unless you knew.
I figured its safe to tell you, because you old farts will have forgotten by the next time you see the car...
I'm not sure never could find one. I bought it at Carlisle a couple years ago. What brand?
Well I guess "my time" is short when your making money!!Might have time today to work on my OWN distribs! Have not done one since Carlisle!
yesfrank's more of a help here than I am.
Not that it should matter much but lets see if you can explain what you've got here. yes no is fine
This is a 12 Volt battery powered system. Yes
Battery positive is connected to the engine block or head.yes
Battery negative goes through an on/off switch to the coil negative.yes
Flip the power on (or connect the wire) and the coil positive shows 12 Volts. Yes
Coil positive leads to the points.
thanks
Any one near Janesville, Wisconsin? There is a nors exhaust there and he will not ship it.
So if there is 12 V on both sides of the coil primary, no current is running through it.
Going to Carlisle by chance?Janesville is about 2 hours from me....
So if there is 12 V on both sides of the coil primary, no current is running through it.
Whether that's because the points are open, not connecting to ground, or something else...???
