Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was looking at it also...

The radiator looks like the 70's style, not like the 67 - 68 rounded top tank... I thought that they used the rounded tanks in 69 also and changed to the more square tanks in 70 when they changed to the aluminum water pump...

But if it was a 70 radiator with a cast iron water pump, the lower radiator hose will be on the opposite side....
They did.
My first really succesful radiator setup in the '67 with the late style timing cover and water pump was a semi-custom square top and a factory flex fan with short spacer. Flex fan blade came off on a road trip but went right into the battery so the radiator survived. Fan shround did not.
Later I shifted the core and tanks further forward on the side mounts. This allowed just enough clearance to use the MP clutch fan.

A couple years ago Bob at Glen Ray made me a bubble top '68 radiator with the lower tnk from a '70. That's been working great, and lets me use a clutch with the correct earlier fans and '68-9 shroud. I think that's the best way to go...natureally. :)

Bob is a good guy and can make you what ever you want. Not cheap but good stuff.

Trying to get a 340 cam made?

Here are the Mopar Specs for the 340 camshafts.

The 444/276 cam is available through Jegs Mopar Performance Camshafts.

The 453/284 4 speed 340 cam could be cut by Oregon Cams, don't think that one is available in mass supply.

Sounds like a not well thought out great idea. They have a amphibious car show up here every year
Well, keep in mind, they weren’t designed for boating around on a lake. They were literally designed to moved troops from landing ships Thru shallow waters and on to the beach. A lot of the casualties from D-Day and even the months of training before was due to getting in too deep of water with too high of waves for those things.

They are quite literally a Deuce and Half truck chassis with a thin boat hull and a duplex drive on the rear axles

I've never found what I was looking for on their site. I'll try and call Monday.
Not a recommnedation but the companies that make lines include.
Fine lines
Classic tube?
Right stuff
In-line

I can't say how exact any of them are. For the long line on my '67 it took me 3 tries to get one that fit like the original....
You know who might know? Scott Smith Harms - he does a lot of points type carb restoration.

Worst case, find a good original and we can copy it.

I forgot about Scott.

New equipment on the way.
OMM got himself a metal stamp set for stamping sheet metal vin's. (that's a slippery slope there)
How could you remove the old stamping so you could stamp new numbers?

Scott was on my call list. He rebuilt my carb so probably call him first.

No wonder the steering wheel was so difficult, without primer the clear epoxy makes it impossible to see imperfections. Now I see much more. Huff... :D And I have been procrastiniting. Nei nei nei. huff huff.

I am sorry, I can't help it, but you guys are going to pick up a few Norwegian words here and there. Nei nei nei means no no no. And uff and uffda is something you say when a kid tips over a glass of milk on the table and make a mess. It is not a swear word, it is more like, ouch. Huff is an enhancement of uff and uffda. That is if you yourself have tipped over the coffee, the first time it is uff, but the third time you are tired of it, and comes out with a louder "huff". Still not a swearword. It is sort of a complaining thing, something has happened more than once, and you are tired of it. :D

Man between torquing down parts, dragging an axis deer feeder out and setting it up and clearing brush my right shoulder is getting even with me. :soapbox:
It should know we are still young and get with the program.

Question: Does anyone know if there are any thin clear plastic with adhesive on to put on top of a lable ? I want to print out some lables, and Staples have sheet with lables in different kinds. But, I only have an ink jet printer, and I think water and soap will wash off the ink. So, if possible, I want to print out a whole bunch of them, and if I have a thin plastic foil with adhesive on to cover the entire sheet, that would be nice.
