Well, I blew off work enough for today tearing apart this ECU. Tomorrow I need to be full time on the ball. Several meetings and a boat load of other stuff I need to do. At least I can still work from Home for it. Things are coming to a head there, they owe me a lot of money ($25k) and if I don’t get my payment soon, I am resigning. In the mean time, I intend to show them my value fully so that if I resign it will be exceptionally painful for them. I’m going to advance a bunch of stuff and then stop dead in my tracks. Pay me or I leave and won’t tell you anything to let you pick up the pieces...and it will cost you double if you ask me to do it afterward.

See you guys tomorrow night. Sleep time now.

A 3 hour drive from Mankato, Mn. In frickin snow most of the way. Arggggg

Morning already.
Parts for ford landed, so i can get it done and out of shop. thinking why its an oddball is because its an open /pegleg. Found it strange but never thought much about it. If he plans on keeping this truck, i will suggest we look around for a limited slip,as they are more common and bearings are easier to get.

Looks like i will be finishing up the week going over my son’s truck. He’s away up north and needs it in good shape the week he gets home, exhaust has a couple breaks in the pipes.
Custom exhaust guys dont leave enough flex in the hangers, pipes crack and break. Same shop, different trucks with same problems.

About 3 hours to get it all back together. Backlash should be good,as bearings were the issue in this situation. Have shims if necessary but new bearings should put it back in spec. i suspect also the last guy backed off the nut.when i spun pinion and washed the oil out there was something loose, like the slinger was floating around. Explains the outer bearing being all beat up.

Good morning. Woke to very wet heavy snow and broken tree limbs....

Ray - That guy I bought the VAT 40 from says he's got another now - a little cleaner.

He didn't say. Just sent me note through epay.
I'm surprised he picked it up since he was trying to empty out the garages.
Maybe it fell into his hands.
He knows the prices stuff go for.
He's the sort i don't want to ask unless I'm planning to buy
