Stop in for a cup of coffee

You know what they sell for on the average. Been some good deals on them lately I am just out of room for stuff like that. Actually dropping the motor off this AM to get checked out. Have a Cuda explosion in the shop. This car is driving me nuts. Take the headlight/buckets off the drivers side is perfect, the pass side the cup where it mounts in the fender is rotted through? Never saw that before on any car. Only thing I can figure is from slush being splashed up in there in the winter and never washed?

Good morning boys and girls.

Last night finally my wife slept well, and me too.

Today and untill Wednesday afternoon the wind is supposed to pick up, and the fire started like some 20 miles away, and the closest it has been is 3 1/3 of a mile, so that was very uncomfortable. Now.we have had over 24 hours of little to no wind. And yesterday it changed from 5 percent contained to 15 percent. I hope even if the wind picks up that it will not be too bad.

When my wife was a cute little girl, (still cute), this area was filled.with dairy farmers and was a nice farming community. Then rich folks from other places of the state came up here and bought up the land, and went into growing grapes for wine. The soil I useless now, all of it. Grapes does not give anything back to the land. The rich has become even richer, and a basket of strawberries grown I the Central valley cost $3.99 2 or 3 years ago, and at the same time they could buy strawberries grown at the same farm here in California in Maine for $2.99. Gas now cost $4.29 here, and in 2017 it burned a lot here, I the city too. Last year it was a horrible.huge fire up north, and the fire now is filling in between those fires, and even have burned into where it burned 2 years ago. One farm burned in 2017, and again Sunday night.

Just a misery, no wonder I feel this part of the state is cursed.

That's sad. It takes a long time to recover from a fire like that.

It's going to be miserable here again. Supposed to be in the low 90*s. Just came in from the garage. Humidity is horrible.
You'll have that in Fla. We head north to Canada in the summer to get away from the humidity. And then head to Tx and Az in the winter to escape the cold. LOL

time to move. CA is a ticking time bomb.

It looks like not a "Good Morning" LOL We got our first snow last night too. Only a inch or two but it stuck on the grass and trees. I can't ever remember getting snow a week before Halloween.
Hey you have a new snow record to break.

Morning everyone, Bill, come on out, more snow today, calling for 8-12 inches by Wednesday morning. Oh, and 9 deg out this morning. Makes the coffee taste that much better.

I have a thing, bread with liver paste on, and hot chocolate to drink. That is so good when it is cold.

Can I come visit and make some snow angels ? LOL

I just told my wife about your snow. She replied, oh, we can take all that snow here. All of it, just send it here. :D
