Found it in my files. It was for an ‘87 D150. Airtex...$15 part. That would be the core canidate for sure.
No, BUT, you never know what I will come up with.......Hope you (Tim, Lefty, Carnie, hey you) have a milling machine then.
I just provide information, what you do with it is up to you!But we need to get the factory crap out of vintage, numbers ECU's. Like for Hemis and six pacs....With original markings....
Like msg, used to tenderize meat.I read something interesting that I have never known before. I have no idea if it was true, but anyway, I read that those who make food use a lot of different "salts" in the food. And it said that only what I call table salt, or I think it is refered to as natrium chloride is tasting salty. The others does not really make the food tasting saltier, but it makes the blood pressure raise. When I make food I only use the regular salt I have on the table, so that is all I get. That include the regular fine grained salt, and sea salt. Unless we buy some of this other food that someone else have been messing with. It kind of upsets me, and I can get a little cranky about it.
Bill
I wonder what Chineseum company made those? Airtex used to sell new and rebuilt fuel pumps.
Bad for your heart. Just ask my heart surgeon and cardiologistLike msg, used to tenderize meat.
some restaurants sprinkle salt on the fresh coffee grounds, really wrecks the coffee.
But not the 5.9 magnum, as they were well on the way with efi when magnum engines came out.
I just wish the factory ones were that easy to disassemble...I just provide information, what you do with it is up to you!
How about this one?Hope you (Tim, Lefty, Carnie, hey you) have a milling machine then.
LOL Bill your getting SALTY!
But weren’t those just black bodies with gold anodized heat sinks and a Mopar electronic ignition sticker on the side? But we need to get the factory crap out of vintage, numbers ECU's. Like for Hemis and six pacs....With original markings....
Ray/Hoppy would know that better then I.....But weren’t those just black bodies with gold anodized heat sinks and a Mopar electronic ignition sticker on the side?
This one could be repainted black, already has the gold anodized heat sink and the stickers are available as repops for a few bucks each.
That is exactly the parts I will need...............Burned outDoes anyone have a couple of those MoPar ECU's they know is burned and is going to throw away and instead could be willing to drop in a box and send to me for the shipping and a minor little fee ?
Prob if it will support decent 3/4 end mills definitely will do a half. You have to get a lot of cores to pay for it to make money back. I have seen some used not working number boxes go for a few bucks also. Definitely a nitch market. Doubt it will pay to tool up to do it though. Steve has a Machine prob work out for him if he wants to get into it. Figure it this way good ecu 25-40 each, wiring 10 at the best with the right plugs. Weld on studs for the ecu mounting and the spot gun also prob a dollar each. Then you want to make at least a cover of some sort for the bottom to keep water out and perforated to let air flow? Say $5 each and then the core. You can get a rubber stamp made with the part numbers and use machinist ink and paint cheap cases also say at 15 each case if they are still that cheap. How about this one?
