Stop in for a cup of coffee

Plumber was here for some vehicle repairs, it now has heat like it was new and loose connection on battery solved flickering headlight issue.
He was after some different wheels for his 39 dodge and wanted to try a pt cruiser wheel.
Ah-ha! Now i got him where i want.
He’s going to plumb in my tub/shower as soon as i have it ready. Frickin awesome!

The wiper arms are stuck as if they were cast on. There is a little spring under there that I can move. I have not done this in maybe 35 years so it is much forgotten. But I see in the shop manual there is a tool for it. I do not have that tool. Have to scratch my head on this one.

Picture please. Where it mounts to stud. Thanks.

I am guinea pig for sound abatement project this afternoon. That means I get to nestle in behind a 300 Win Mag while the boys take DB measurements so we can compare to baseline. We modified stations with a bunch of sound abatement material. Today we will see just how much we knocked off.

If they are that stuck they could use some WD40. Try it on the pivots too. They may not need springs just seized up.

I think I found the problem. Look at the pics, that spring tab to release the blad is laying against the metal on the blade. I bent the end of the arm a bit, and the problem seems to be gone.

The pivots are loose and fine, but I could not help myself so I had to lubricate them a little with the famous American 1-2-3 oil. :D Oh I love that old stuff, we used to have it in Norway too, all the way back in the 70ties and 60ties. Anyway, it seems it is fine now since I bent the end of the arm a little. And I do like the new blades, they look awesome instead of a black blade.

Hello man....It is a wet and wild Wednesday here...

I love wild, I have been out for hours in just my T-shirt, and it is 50 and windy, but the wind hit the back of the garage so it does not blow into the door. Was at the store too, and people around looked like a tamale, completely tucked in. I was surprised they did not come to the store in their beds.

Got the edge of the metal around the trunk opening welded, it was cracked open to I could not mount the trunk lid seal. Now that is welded, I have sprayed primer on, and I have mounted most of the seal, just where I welded that is open. And the trunk lid felt so nice to slam down now that the seal was there.

So, I have not been an entirely bad boy today. :D

Oh, hm... well, I had more than the T-shirt on, I had underwear, pants, socks and shoes on too.

Seems like the latch is missing, its at the end away from hinge side. A little pick and a pry and it would come off. Think my 65 barracuda should be similar, will check. If i can find them that is..

good you got it wiping for now.

Hello man....It is a wet and wild Wednesday here...

From El Toro to Woodland hills it was pretty soggy, but the traffic was not too bad. The rest of the trip north to home was pretty much dry. Fire in Santa Barbara must have been subdued, I saw many loaner fire crews heading home for the holiday .

My shoes I ordered on NOV. 2 from company called wish came today.

The package has a clear China stamp.

The shoes are nice and good quality BUT ..... they REEK of some kind of chemical smell.

Also they are too big and there isn't much I can do for returns.

RESIST the temptation to order from the Chinese. I would have been money and time ahead ordering from a US stocked store. Although this particular model of shoe is not really around except from Chinese retailers.

Now I have some very cute shoes that are unusable.

:(:(:(:(:(

Well, I am clueless if something is missing or not since I have nothing to compare with.

I forgot to mention that I created those images so I could make holiday cards for my wife and daughter. They printed nicely.
