“I am dropping off my car for oil change and tire swap, and can you check the coolant leak?

tire swap is pull 4 tires off rims, swap onto car,then put those tires back onto the rims.
Jeez...
buy new tires already.
160 just to trade tires.
Coolant leak is something to do with intake manifold, have to pull some stuff apart..oh well,set it aside til friday when i has more time.

Since the Duster is done.....ish, are they ever really done?.... lol. I'm selling off a bunch of stuff I'm not using. If ya live close to me take a look...making good deals on individual items. I just dont have time to fool around with shipping. If ya live close...ish I could possible meat you somewhere, like half way or something.

Got some stuff done at the garage this afternoon.
None of it satisfactory.

a. Transmission leak is definately coming from the snap ring access plate. So much for my home made gasket. Can't wait to remove the trans mount and cross member again.

b. Tried out the LM2, calibrated the new WBO2 in free air, and installed it in the exhaust. Then set up the auxillery box - hooked up the MAP and rpm.
Tied it all together. Then when I pulled the car out, the WBO2 wasn't warming fully and the Auxillery box wasn't recognized. :( Can't risk damaging the WBO2 so after going over the connections and looking for settings I might screwed up, pulled back in and removed it.

c. Minor success was my prep for the 'show'. This basically consisted of the cheater method - dust the sheet metal, clean the windows, and get the bumpers to shine.

So I guess that was satisfactory - I just forgot about it. After dinner, walked over to CVS and got a kids gift for Toys for Tots.
