I was picking it up because I loved it when I met my wife and then...... yeh I really learned it.
 
I am playing with a scamp this weekend.

I am installing a running slant six in it to get it running. It was a V8 car originally but that don't really matter to me because I would rather have a running slant six car than a dead v8 car that I have to push.

It's been a fun project to put it together with only parts laying around the yard.

It is an build inspired by uncle Tony's garage.

He daily drives a 72 swinger that he put together strictly on parts he had laying around the yard. It went from a shell to a driving car and has parts from multiple years...... its great

Have not got that far, I figure I should just get it running first then I have options.

I am not a very good flipper, it's something I don't really do. I have given more cars away than i have ever flipped. I tend to flip the non mopar cars and give away the mopars. I have mostly given to younger cousins and I gave one to a young friend in the local auto school.
 
I have an incomplete parts build at the moment as well. 68 Fairlane 500 Formal Roof.
Short block and tranny are out of a van I parted, Granada disc brake and power steering I got from a guy who owed me money. Lifters from same guy. Carb from another friend on a trade. Used roller cam. Rear discs from another guy who owed me. Master cylinder of an 06 that a guy gave me as he didnt want to take the time to pull the parts that I wanted. Needs radiator as I stole it for the Coronet. Headers need to be modified, traded a radiator for them. Needs exhaust and a stall converter.
 
Dang I need to stop "ignoring" people, a lot of other threads have "show ignored content" on the bottom of the page.

I never ignored anyone in all the years I have been here but this year the flame in my brain grew to a fire and now I read some people's posts , and think "what a freaking moron" I know it's bad, I might need to go to church more.

I am probably ignored by many, but i don't care because i am not going anywhere.

I had to look that up because I don't know my fords that good. Is it like this ..

I swear I'll never buy another project that is missing its engine and transmission. But oh looky there..... I have another.
