Stop in for a cup of coffee

Think the shocks i saved from the 69 dart rear spring swap will work too. They fit and still have lots of travel. He wanted new, i kept the old ones. Werent all that old.

In for a cup of tea and back out to do very little organizing in the garage. About 45F and very damp -not the 50+ I was expecting. So that's not helping my motivation.

We were supposed to get snow today.

No snow and 37 degrees with a very cold breeze.

I'm getting ready to go try and get that 727 home.
Maybe bring it in the house to warm it up

So i was right, didnt stop. View attachment 1715444743 So, pulled front spring bolts out.
and dug out some heavy wall square tubing.will build new front hangers roughly 1-1/2” shorter. Remove 3 bottom leaves from springs and there is another 1” and factor in the extra sag from the missing leaves and i should total 3” lower.
That looks like miles of smiles, fun project

Sorry. I really don't know anything about them. LOL. My son was into them and has a bunch of them in a bag downstairs from when he was a kid...

the Green Ranger.

Some of those may be worth some serious coin. I’ve got a set of the action figures, missing the weapons. On eBay, several of those sets are routinely going for 1500-2000 if they have the weapons. Only 100ish without.

Kinda doubt it. He played pretty rough with them...

:wtf: Fins beat the Brady bunch?
Wish I would have watched more of that.
Maybe the Steelers have a chance today.
Nothing would make me happier than for the cheaters to get bounced next week from the playoffs.

Part of my organizing in garage today was to make room for some new tools and charger on the bench. While there I did some comparison and answered a question. My scale for shipping is right there...Specs showed the new Milwaukees being heavier than old ones. That did not make sense since they are physically smaller. The new ones with 5.0 battery weigh in exactly as listed. old ones don't match spec but are heavier as I thought. Only thing I can figure is they were weighed with a 1.5 or 2 amp battery. As long as power specs are right, they are getting way more out of a much more compact tool.

Brushless motors are the key. The clutches and the chucks have gotten a bit smaller as well by not by much.

Rain is approaching. 70 miles up the beach at Cambria now. NWS weather map cracks me up. A "High Surf" warning 20 miles up our valley and a "Winter Weather Advisory" right next to it

So now that you have the driver’s side fender off, are you going to hammer some of the wrinkles out of it or leave it “as-is”?

Hammer...i have to now.
Will be fixing inner fender panels and painting them, and paint firewall too. Will be so easy.
Rad support is broken, so whole front end sheet metal sagged. Cracks all over.
