Stop in for a cup of coffee

We were supposed to get snow today.

No snow and 37 degrees with a very cold breeze.

I'm getting ready to go try and get that 727 home.
Maybe bring it in the house to warm it up
Near South Fork yesterday

Broncos are done too.

I guess they will all be watching the play offs from the warmth of home
I thought Steelers were out over a month ago. Then they looked like they could actually get in playoffs. :wtf:
Not much interest in any teams at this point. I might watch some playoffs depending on the matchups can still enjoy a good game with no dog in the fight. Hope to see the Eagles keep it going. Always good to see either the Pats or Crows LOSE... lol

Pretty good wind blowing too not factored in, plus it went down to -26.
Gimme El Paso.
Been to Dallas a couple times but not to enjoy the warmth. We need to vacation in the southwest sometime.

Just looked you up on the map. I have been to Kenora a few times fishing.
Couple hours away. Went on a lake cruise there a couple years ago. Was fun.
Guy i worked with moved back home to kenora, hes a conservation officer there now.

No point going fishing there, i have a buddy that flys me out to remote lakes here where the walleye fishing is fantastic!

Never flew in. My friends had a cabin on Caliper Lake near Nestor Falls. We got out on Lake of the Woods. but usually caught more fish and had more fun right on Caliper. Ton's of crappies there. We knew where the walleyes and pike were. And the dock and the whiskey jug wasn't too far away.

I heard the crappies migrated into a smaller adjoining river a few miles east of here. Next summer going to go try catch a few.

We are still mild with weather here, but it looks like more normal temps arrive in about a week or so. Ok with me, ever week of mild weather is one less week of cold Winter.

Last year we saw this on November 15th.

Nothing like that this year so far.

We got flown out a few times to fishing lodges, sometimes day fishing, once was 3 days. Quite an experience. Wanna eat a sammich? Dont put your line back in the water...

Never got into the walleyes much. A few on Caliper but it seems when we would go out on Lake of the Woods it was nasty weather. We always went early after ice out when the season opened. I remember fishing in the snow.

We got below freezing here. I had to take defensive countermeasures!

I just signed in on a new computer and before I signed in, there were ads at the bottom of the page and oddly enough, right below your post was an ad for Brazilian bikinis

Weird, its like they can read your (ben drinkin's) mind :poke:
