Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey, I just remembered, when I was back there at Hoppys, I got some Cleco fasteners. I don't have them!!! WTH happened to them? HMMMMM

Wires were pretty fubared. Found a nice one $3.18. (+$2 to get in the yard) It connects under carpet in front of back seat. I just left them long and put some crimp connectors on quick to get it back together. Will redo and tuck it all in another day.

Power steering pressure hose. F150. $315.00 when its all said and done. Wow.

so I got my 383 with 13.5:1 pistons in it unstuck yesterday. a mix of kerosene and ATF in each cylinder did the trick, after a month of sitting. Bores don't look too bad. It might actually run if I wanted it too

13.5 to 1 compression? What are you going to run it on, alcohol? Sure wont be pump gas....

I have no idea what to do with it. guy I got it from said he'd gotten it from a machine shop that had closed down. I don't think its ever been ran. Zero carbon anywhere and, all the lifters look brand new and the cam still had this white assembly grease on it. I think it stuck from sitting for who knows how long.

I guess you could use 2 Head gaskets to bring down the compression, or use a real wide lobe center point camshaft, like 116 degrees...or both...OR run it on Alcohol. Other wise it will ping like crazy! IMO.

most likely. I've not got anything to run it in currently. I was just curious if I could unstick it or not. Figured if not, I'd put it in the scrap pile. Its gonna have too much CR for me to run in the polara and the dart's 440 is ready to go. I may just lube it up good, wrap it up and stick it in the crate and store it for future consideration.

You would be surprised all the great old Mopars people have hidden away back there. I was, Hoppy took me to a few of his friends places, And the guy I bought the rear quarters from. in NY, And Dang, the great beautiful old restored Mopars they have are astounding.
my next project mopar will be a 64 Sport Fury. I've got some leads but I'm trying to finish a couple first lol
