Stop in for a cup of coffee

Heat is on, tunes are cranked, ranger alternator done and gone.
F150 all apart for upper control arm, rear bushing worn out, ground up the bolt. So no bolt until 2:00.
Clean up a few things, take away all the things for the dog, dishes and beds. Dump run. Leave the leftover treats at the dump office for visiting dogs.

Cleaning up a mess at a well head, dug this up. Bit of a pucker factor at first, third one I have found it here.

20mm armor piercing round, WW2 time frame, according to the corps of engineers out here. Out here is the old Lowry bombing range.

Well that was close. I was moving stuff around and bumped a 360 crank off the shelf, narrowly missing my foot from a height of 4 feet. Bounced off the concrete hard. Probably just ruint that crank.

Hate it when that happens.
Had a picture window stored in my barn. Wife and son moved it, stood it up against a post and it toppled and glass went flying.
They both were lucky.

Not bad, wasnt expecting much work today. Billed out almost $900. Good, things have been slow in the income dept.

Got my new custom made leaf springs for the fargo.
Will do the job,but i paid dearly for them. Two springs,2 extra bushings and hardware near $500.

Collecting tools and such to go in the AM to get my GTS out of Paint Jail......Now drinking BEER !!!!

My buddy just stopped over and dropped off a Christmas gift. A 12x14 of my 66 taken at a friends funeral. I had a @Ddaddy Coffee Shop calendar for him that he really liked as well. He also left with a extra set of roller rockers I bought from Speedmaster. They will work well on his stroker.

I just saw a lil bit of an advertisement as I was gettin' the youtube tunes tuned up. A solder/brazing technique for aluminum requiring only a propane torch. I have to research that.

So anyone know how to home check this crank? I’m guessing it’s toast but want to know for sure before ditching it. It’s a brand new Mopar performance crank circa 1989. Bought by my grandfather as a spare when they were offset grinding cranks to stroke the ol 360 back then

Probly did more damage to the concrete than you did to that crank.
