Stop in for a cup of coffee

You see the link? Tried to help the guy. Gave him a some possibilites of why it runs good with timing so high. One possibility was a mix of early and late parts. he posts back that both pass and drivers sides are right. LOL I'm done there.
Guys like that you can't help. Just back away slowly. LOL

Well I guess I was thinking car shows Lol!! Your thinking racing season . I know you’ll be smiling when you get it back and how new and shiny it’ll be.
Now I'm working on the stuff I'm seeing how imperfect everything is. When stuff gets worn and damaged over time you don't notice it as much. It will be nice to have the instrument panel done. It started flaking the brushed aluminum paint first year or two I had the car. I think that and the crazed tailight are the worst visually. Enough so they detract from the overall impression.

:thumbsup:Buddy John is coming back the end of the March. I asked him how long he planned on staying. He replied when he thought we’re done. Nice, I really enjoy just being around soaking up some MOPAR knowledge. It’s like being here, but having him there in the garage actually working on the car.
FWIW. The arm rest bases on my car were chromed.

I think I found them at Van’s. I’ve bought stuff from them before, a great place to do business. The price wasn’t bad and they looked great.

I just sending them in with the panels for vacu plating. Really reasonably priced. $20 each

@Mattax I have a thought about the whole timing mark thing.

Good morning all.............My 360 has three timing marks. All three seem to work. Very High Performance. Of course, the engines needs to idle at 1500 RPM to keep running,,,,,,

One is for daylight savings, one is for northern hemisphere where the go clockwise and the last is for the southern hemisphere for CCW I bet!

I'm gonna have 4 timing marks on my 360 so I can time it from either side and top or bottom.... :D

Yep in case any of the ones on the balancer wear off or fade....
Put one on the left rear wheel, just jack up the rear and you are good to go......Long cord for timing light needed. And long arms or helper to twist the dist......
