Stop in for a cup of coffee

You can only have multiple timing marks on a 360 because of the external balance, it won't work on internal balance engines like the 273, 318, and 340... I guess it will work on the 73 340 cast crank engine also....

Put one on the left rear wheel, just jack up the rear and you are good to go......Long cord for timing light needed. And long arms or helper to twist the dist......

If you put the battery in the trunk, then you only have to get the long cord for the inductive pick-up for the timing light...

No dummy, just need a extra long secondary wire to the number one plug! Keep it with your light. Take off plug wire to number one, get the 20 foot long one out, hook it up good to go!

Not exactly sure why I thought if this. I had a customer way back in the day that got pissed that after we replaced the tires on his BMW that the valve stems weren’t all in the same place. Tried explaining to him that the first time he turned they would be different. He didn’t care he wanted them all in the 6 o'clock position. Ok.... customer is always right. It was hilarious to see his face after he pulled it out of the shop.

Morning coffee sippers. 48 hours and we’re off for the island

Guys like that you can't help. Just grab up your tools and run. LOL

I think I found them at Van’s. I’ve bought stuff from them before, a great place to do business. The price wasn’t bad and they looked great.
They have a big tent at Carlisle. Forget what I bought there now. Some little part nobody else had...
Well that didn’t go as planned.
Lot of that for me lately :BangHead:
Good Morning

I would have told him they were set to realign when he parked it again somewhere else.

That was too easy. Crown vic came in with a misfire. Spark plug bore was full of water. Dried it out, swapped plug and coil to an easier cylinder and fired it up. Banging on all 8 now. Usually the coils fail. But good to go this time. If it does, its on a front cylinder. Easy to get at.

dang, you all see the damage down there in TN? right thru the heart of music city

Next up!
F150 with weird exhaust noise.
Have to leave it for an hour or so before i can fire it up again. Its only for a few seconds then it gets quiet.

Still trying to get in touch with my Niece. Like a daughter, she lives there...
my cousin lives just east of Nashville, i can't recall the name of the town, like mount vernon or something. Anyway, I sent him a text this morning, haven't heard back.

That said, reports are that a couple cell towers got taken out and power is out all over. So I'm sure communications and internet are down.

I don't know if regular Army responds to those domestic emergencies. The boy is a crew chief on them big choppers. He might be out amongst it already.
