Stop in for a cup of coffee

2 new wheel bearings, noise still there. Wanted him to wait until noise got worse. Nope. Change em. Will need them soon enough. I knocked back my labour and dropped the price on the parts. So i felt better at least.
Ordered a set of microphones that clamp on chassis parts to help find the noise. Chassis ear is one name brand. Should take care of the guesswork.
Wife has an adapter to play music through car stereo, should work well.

The roofing contractor just left. A couple nice young guys that are excited about the possibilities. They flew their drone around and took some still shots and videos of the house and some problem areas. Cool stuff.

The nice part about the coronavirus is gas prices have plummeted. 2.459 a week ago

Ouch...I bet thats an expensive adventure on your house Mike......:eek:

We will find out. A lot of work in addition to just the roof. It will be $100,000+ I imagine.
100,000?!? No way. We just had my grandfathers roof quoted and it was 15,000 labor and materials combined. Including removing the old roof and fixing a few rafters. Hell, you can build a whole new house here for that kind of coin

On a side note, i bought the shingles for my house/garage a few years ago.was a lift of high quality with some colour variations so they were called seconds. Paid $750. Sorry TMM.
Big house is nice, but i prefer my 1200 foot bungalow.

Mom’s house is smaller than mine, last year she paid $7,000 to have it done/re-sheeted a portion too.
