Any of you guys have thoughts on using helicoils on flywheel mounting flange of the crank?
No reason it wont work, but i would consider going oversize.
Guess finding oversize flywheel bolts would be a challenge. Going metric may be another option.

dont use just helicoils on something like that. There's some high vibration style ones with stakes that we use at work, I'll get the name of them. They aren't cheap but worth it.

The way the bolt pattern is I would have to redrill the flywheel as well. Already have use flexplate bolt instead of flywheel bolts due to length. They do reach all the way through the flange though. Working on a FE.

How many he have? He is a great guy, I have had many dealings with him. He is basically across from Tim at Carlisle.

Man I wanted to get some powdered milk for coffee if it really gets bad, none in the stores, TP and Bleach are gone along with most cold medicine. Really did not expect that up here. Had to get it on Amazon and a bunch of brands are out and delivery dates in June. Really wondering how bad this will get. So far nothing in my county.

Only a few more things I want to get. Figure the power will be off at some point so need some clean kero for lamps. Another thing here Ammo is non existent also wanted to get one more box for the revolver, forget about it.

Was just going to ask that. The country prepping?
Yes, cancelling a few public events,im wondering if the car show will be cancelled. Its 2 weeks away.
Some universities are shutting down, eastern canada.

watching the news, manitoba hospitals are short of beds without the covid19 virus, so if it starts here our health care facilities will be in trouble.

Pretty much the same here. Really glad I live in the sticks. Was going to do the tractor pull Friday but they are thinking of canceling it, I was on the fence anyhow.
